What? Little Gameboy sponges? That's neat, and completely random. Sometimes you wonder how some of these things get thought of and made. Where'd you come across these?

Ah, I didn't check each page to see on stock. I just know they have a good selection. Even the one of Ed Kenway, which is different from the CE of the game being released.

Good idea on store checking. Their bound to have at least one...

Nope, it's the reversible artwork that came with the game. MUCH better than the crappy "normal" artwork.

This isn't my full collection unfortunately. I'm in the middle of moving, so most of my Halo gear is packed up. I haven't gotten around to putting the rest of the game cases away yet.

This is an outdated version of my Halo collection. It's missing a bunch of stuff like the RvB Boxset, Halo 4 gear, several action figures, etc... It's probably about 2 years out of date.

Since I'm packing, I also don't have any photos of my other consoles and games. I have: PS1, N64, Genesis (with Sega CD and 3DX attachment), Dreamcast, SG-1000, Gamecube, Wii, and WiiU.

This is my 360:

This is my UNSC vanguard carrying case, which I currently have my PS3 hooked up to at the moment:

As for my games: (Not pictured are Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 4, Halo Wars, Saints Row 1, Saints Row 2, Run Like Hell, Shenmue II, Serious Sam

(the green one on the end is Dragon Age: GOTY)

(The blank blue case is Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for the Gamecube)

I used to keep the Gamecube and PS3 games separated from the 360 and Xbox, but I figured it was easier to manage this way. But yeah, alphabetical is the way to go (with the exception of series, which I prefer to do chronologically.) I'd rather not take 15 minutes trying to find a game in a random pile. Not sure how people live like that. Even worse when I go to somebodies house and all of their games are in a stack on the dresser or they put back games in the wrong case. I had a friend over once who tried putting a copy of Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate back in the GTA III case and I threatened to knock his teeth out.

Pretty much one of the first Game Consoles ever created. I put a lot of effort into finding one of these that was still new in the box.

It was not the first one. The SG 1000 was released in 1983, 6 years after the Atari 2600:

HE never said it was the first console, he said "it was one of the first consoles". Video games have been around since the 1950's, and the first home console to connect to a tv was the Magnavox Odyssey in 1972.

Way to go Mr Wikipedia.

Read the second section on that link. If your going to post something, at least make it original.

Yep, I'm the same exact way with how I order my stuff. Well...except when it comes to my Resident Evil things. I keep that organized by console chronologically, so my top shelf is Biohazard (PS1) releases, then Resident Evil (PS1) releases followed by my only PAL (PS1) release. Then all the Sega Biohazards (Sega Saturn and Dreamcast), then all the US Sega Resident Evils (Saturn and Dreamcast) and all the PAL Sega Resident Evils (Saturn and Dreamcast. Following that are the three portable games I own (minus RE2 for Game.com, which I keep on the shelf below) and then the three Big Box PC releases I have.

Bottom shelf is RE0-RE4 on Gamecube, RE:Outbreak-RE4 on PS2 (US), Survivor 2-RE4 on PS2 (PAL), RE0:Archives-RE4 Wii Edition on Wii (US) and REORC-RE6 on Xbox 360 (US).

Anyways, my main games are all ordered alphabetically first and if there's multiple games in the series...the first chronologically goes well...first.

Picked up my collector's edition today. Beeee-aaautiful statue. It's quite large too, which is a nice bonus. Sorry for the crappy quality, my camera died soon as I took this one picture.

I would believe it if it didn't read almost exactly like the wiki page.

Believe it or not, I knew that as well, but with how you typed it, it looks like it came right off wiki. So I checked wiki, and low and behold, it looks almost exactly the same.

I'm off this subject now though, because its off topic anyway, and it will only raise my blood pressure.

I'm glad that you also knew that, knowing where things come from is important. The thing is I know a lot about the gaming industry, partly because I just love it, and partly because when I was in middle school I wanted to open an interactive gaming museum, so I did a lot of research. Unfortunately by the time I was old enough, and had the means to do so, someone else had already beat me to the punch. So now I just know a lot about the industry.

I don't really understand some peoples need to try and belittle other people on forums, maybe it is jealousy, I really don't know. Can't we all just try and be amicable though? And just be glad that there are other people in the world that share our passions. Take the chance that some people may know more than you, and that isn't a bad thing but an opportunity to learn more.

I for one know that there are many people here that have amazing items that I wish I knew how to get my hands on, like old gen consoles still in their original packaging, just amazing! And I truly appreciate the opportunity to see what types of games other people are interested in.

So on that note I think I will share my latest purchases:

I will also be picking up Dead Island Riptide for the 360 on Tuesday.

I hope that your blood pressure stays healthy, there is no need to get sick over such paltry matters.
