Does being knocked down count towards damage taken?

I saw a video on Youtube. The player Trinity-ed Abyss Stage 6 solo on the PS3 version, but in the video he was knocked down by a Draghignazzo once (the slam move) near the end of the stage.

Link here:

Does being knocked down by enemeis count towards damage? Or is there a difference between the two port versions (if yes then I really have to yell at Capcom for being so unfair)

Either luck or hax, because you DO take damage from that move. Same with Sea Creeper grabs.

Could be a glitch as well. :/

Well there is an easy way to find out, simply press and if you heal yourself you know you got hit. This attack definitely counts towards damage taken but on this video it's a glitch!
