Is it worth getting and do codes disable?

I want to play this game because i like lego games and i love lord of the rings.
and i read if the codes disable achievements and it said no. so can i use the cheats? just want to make sure

I've played every Lego game and pretty sure I have gotten all the achievements in the. It might be that it has been a while since playing the last, but I really enjoyed this one. Loved the RPG style overworld and finding all the quests. Definitely worth checking out if you are into the Lego games at all.

Agreed. The cheats do not disable the achievements in any of the LEGO games, and thank goodness for that because it makes the game a lot better imo. Otherwise there would be many additional hours of tedious dungeon crawling.

Seriously, you can literally walk from Hobbiton to Mount Doom and all of the places in between on an open world map.

That alone should make you want to play it.

Yeah, after having beaten the story line now, I'm having a blast roaming around Middle Earth completing quests. It's got a bit of an RPG feel to it.
