Question Walking Dead or Wolf Among Us?

I personally like this game more than the walking dead and am just curious as to which one other people like more?

I think they're both on a par and equally as good as each other, but saying that I haven't played the first episode of Season two Walking Dead (played all of season one) and probably won't bother until all the episodes are available. It's been four or five months now since the first episode of Wolf Among Us, lost interest somewhat now.

I definitely enjoyed The Walking Dead more. I cared about the characters more, and I generally sympathized with Lee's actions. Bigby just made me want to beat the crap out of people.

I think that they are both great games, but the Walking Dead is my favorite.

Not really sure how anyone can reply to this since we haven't actually played the whole game yet.

Comparing Episode 1 of The Walking Dead to Episode 1 of The Wolf Among Us, I definitely enjoyed what I was doing in TWAU far more than The Walking Dead.

As for overall, it's not even a fair comparison since we're comparing 5 (6) episodes to 1.

I don't think the emotion will be there with TWAU, not like it is in TWD. But time will tell.

I agree with this. TWAU felt more like an action game, whereas TWD was an interactive story.

I love them both but I think I would have to say The Walking Dead is my favourite if I really had to pick just one!!

I definitely like the art style a lot more in TWAU than in TWD -- something about the splashes of neon color with that noir-ish look. So far though, there isn't the same sort of emotional connection with the characters (just based on the game) that TWD managed to build up pretty quickly in its first season. Part of me just attributes that aloofness to the noir genre of it though, since you don't tend to get as emotionally involved with those kinds of characters -- it's not the point. TWAU kind of walks a fine line with that, giving you just enough to care a bit about and remember the characters but still maintaining the cool, distant feel.

I probably am more invested in TWD, but I don't dislike TWAU by any means. As a matter of fact, I don't know that I could handle it if the two were equally emotionally involving (i.e. depressing).

TWAU imo a little better, I just love how fairy tale characters are stuck in the real world and acting so human like us and have to solve who killing all the fables.

I enjoyed TWAU but I felt a little restricted as to how my decisions were really going to impact the game. I guess time will tell how that really changes.

Definitely both quality purchase. I'd lean towards WD because I really like Clem and her 'situation'. Really looking forward to the Game of Thrones venture.
