i found the same thing, at the start i wondered wether the game was going to be good, but once you start to kill the list of people al mualim orders you to kill, thats when this game becomes amazing.

I have heard this game is super repetative and every city is the same. If it is, Does the story and the "twist" make up for it?

Basically, if the game is "boring", is it still worth getting?

Sorry if it's a little off-topic.

Cool Assassin's Creed Book

I had heard so much about this game, mostly that I definitely should play it. I saw a copy of a book titled Assassin's Creed and I got really excited! I read it and it follows the game so closely that now that I'm playing it, I can basically use the book as a strategy guide! Freakin' Sweet!

I've played through the game a while back, and while it can be repetitive going from Masyaf to whichever city houses your target, there are a couple of side things to do such as saving citizens, collecting flags and killing Templars and scaling Viewpoints. The latter which allows you to catch a beautiful view of your surroundings. Then of course there is taking down the targets, from my experiences some targets require a little bit of stealth to kill them and others end up engaging you in an all out slaughter fest. Other bits to point out is how Ubisoft did there historical research on this game, the fact that some of your targets actually existed in history adds to the awesome factor.

Last Achievement.

So I've done all the flags and templars but I never did the Conversationalist achievement as I didn't bother to talk to Lucy after the first couple missions cause I didn't notice. Is the only way to do that achievement to restart the game? If it is, how can I keep my current save file?

If you missed the "Conversationalist" achievement during your playthrough then you must start a new game to be able to get the achievement.

You can move your current save file to a USB or Cloud storage and select your hard drive at the main menu to keep your current save file and start a new game.

Can you not start a new game on Cloud storage just to get Conversatrionlist then delete it after? Or not?

I haven't personally tried it but it should work. Selecting a storage device with no save present will obviously start you at the beginning the game and create a new save slot. You can do with it as you wish after.

The reason why people may be missing the twist is because its not much of a twist at all and is just the basic premise of all the games. Which is that you are not actually the character you play the majority of the game with, in this case (Altair). You are actually a guy called Desmond Miles that is based in present day, who is a descendant of Altair and forced to use a machine called an Animus so that he can access Altair's genetic memory so you can learn what he learnt. Sorry if this classes as a spoiler for some but like others have said you learn of this by either reading the booklet or in the opening few minutes of the game.
