Chada Darkmane
One guide says you can complete the game in 10 - 12 hours and the other says 20 - 25 hours. Which one is correct?
The Pants Party
Both? Those are that specific person's opinion. It all depends on how good you are at the game, how much of the story you pay attention to, how much exploring you do, etc.
Chada Darkmane
If you want to do it as fast as possible which is most accurate.
TheOnlyDogMan
It's a bit hard to say as I was having calibration issues that kept adding more and more time onto the clock, but 10-12 hours for the story seems about right. Skill is a pretty big factor in completion time as the Kinect sucks at picking up movement. You can mitigate it reasonably well by doing the actions perfectly, but if you struggle to pull off the actions the Kinect will experience a higher failure rate which in turn causes you to struggle to reach the Arcade mode scores required for Gold Medals (Story mode is pretty easy/forgiving). Try and get all your achievements as early as possible because while you can get pretty much all of them in Arcade mode some are far easier to get during Wagon levels which aren't part of Arcade mode. Work on the Green, Purple and Orange achievements every time you get the chance since most of them are Story mode achievements and you don't want to have to run Story mode twice. It's also worth noting that it's harder to play in solid blocks than most games thanks to the Kinect. You're probably not going to be able to hammer out 12 hours of continuous play. It's not the most hardcore workout but you throw your arms around a lot so you'll start to feel it in your elbows if you don't take breaks. You'll probably want two days, a large open space in front of the TV and a comfortable chair to sit on.
