Step 1: Beat the game
Start by changing the controls disposal as you feel more comfortable with.
Then play the game on easy or normal to get used to the controls.
After first area you can start playing on extreme if you feel you are skilled enough, this way you're saving time.
Step 2: Beat all areas on Expert
Now that you beated the game and know enemies patterns do it on extreme mode.
It is exactly the same as normal or easy but the game run faster and you have less lives.
Step 3: Go for Score achievements
Now go for score achievements. check videos below.
Some achievement can be earned in normal mode other are easier to get on extreme since you can gather more time to level 5 in extreme than normal or easy.
Galaga Legion DX is not an easy 200, it require some persistence and you need to know enemies patterns to get high scores.
If you use the videos below as guide to score achievements you should be fine, but even using videos you might have to try a few times.
Grand Champion 10G
This can be achieved on easy mode, just complete the mode.
If you start a game on easy you get 5 lives, normal 4 lives and extreme 3 lives.
you get 1 life at 250.000, 500.000, 1.000.000 and then 1 life every million.
check the videos for scores to learn enemy patterns if needed.

3,000,000 points (Area 1) 20G
Scored 3,000,000 points in Area 1!
To get score achievements you need to beat waves quickly to earn time for level five which has 99 waves, as more time you have as more points you can get.
All provided videos are in Extreme mode, gameplay is from Xbox 360/PS3 version so they run faster than on WP version, even so it's still possible to get high scores, just follow videos to learn enemies patterns and avoid to die.
It's just a matter of time and practice until you master the game.
2,500,000 points (Area 2) 20G
Scored 2,500,000 points in Area 2!
3,300,000 points (Area 3) 20G
Scored 3,300,000 points in Area 3!
5,500,000 points (Championship) 40G
Scored 5,500,000 points in Championship!
Follow this video to reach 5.5M points.
At wave 10 on fifth level you can exploit for points, 600.000+ per life as you can see in the video.
Personally I got this achievement playing normal mode and got 5.850.000+ until my time run out.
Safety First! 20G
Area cleared without losing a single fighter!
Play first level on easy and complete it without loosing any single life.
You can let time to run out most of the waves instead of saving time for level 5, this way you avoid to fight with "bosses" which are harder to beat. The provided video for area 1 score achievement might help you with enemies patterns if you can't find them by yourself.
True Completionist 40G
Cleared all areas on Expert difficulty!
To unlock this achievement clear area 1, 2, 3 and Champion mode on expert.
Use provided videos above if needed.
