Peter von Frosta
After my red ring of death I kept my old 30gb harddrive (or was it 20gb?). Now I have gotten my new slim arcade and noticed that I cannot use the old harddrive anymore because the connectors are now at a different location. Is it possible to still get somehow access to my data and savestates? Maybe a special mod-cable with the right connectors or something? The harddrive itself propably is a 2.5 inch ide, so maybe with a torx screwdriver I can open the box and use this actual harddrive somehow? Anyone? Fabioo
You have to buy some cable so you can transfer your data. I believe it costs around $20.
Peter von Frosta
Maybe I should add that the old Xbox doesn't work anymore and I only have the harddrive. I think you need the original Xbox for the cable to work.
