Minarvia
LOL!! I wonder if this Easter egg is different depending on what platform you are playing on, I.E., if you were playing this game on your PC via Stream would it show a general looking computer hard drive, or if you were playing it on a PS3 would it show a PS3 Slim model? xRyux
Nice find. Reminds me of Alan Wake when you search random cabins and also when you're at the lodge part, you can see xbox fat consoles on tables and desks with a video game version of Night Springs which is from the game itself. Liquid Arikardo
I like the Walking Dead easter eggs. Such as The Kirkman Residence in the town with the church and survivors with surnames from the comics such as 'Greene' (Hershel Greene) and a few others. keymanu1
I ran over a horde and my guy said "you've got red on you" to the other guy in the car - I'm pretty sure that's from Shaun of the Dead.
navvy626
I saw on a wall in a small shack west of the church (i think) that had written on it along the lines of "Where does the dead go when hell is full?" a hint towards 'Dawn of the Dead' crossed my mind ie "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth". If i can find it again i will take a pic of it.
maverick68
Funny that there is a cardboard box next to the Xbox.
DROGTURIST
This game is going for the record in zombie references, I think. There's a billion of them everywhere! I like that you can go to (Tom) Savini's house and that there are companies called (Ken) Foree Electronics, "Oremor" and (Zack) Snyder Industries. I think "zed" is from Shaun of the Dead too, isn't it? From that scene where they decide they can't call them zombies... SIMPLYMIDGET
Near the church, there is a house that has both the slim console and a controller upstairs in a bedroom. I will get a pic when I get home. EternalPredator
also theres the achievment rule #1 cardio which is a reference to zombieland
DROGTURIST
The achievements are filled with references, yeah. "Gotta enjoy the little things" is from Zombieland too. "You always were an asshole, Gorman" is from Aliens. "Get Outta My Dreams" is a song. I think "Gun Thugs" might be a reference to Justified? The achievement is about redneck outlaws and they say "gun thugs" a hell of a lot in that show. Trying to figure out what "The Bruce" means. Is there a scene in any of the Evil Dead's where Ash shoots a propante tank? I don't remember any...

Mr Yac
Jaws I think Jaws is what I thought of as well, since Bruce was the sharks name and he was killed by an exploding tank
Shiftie
Jaws I think Good call. I was thinking about possible zombie movies, but they did nickname the mechanical shark in Jaws, "Bruce" (which might also be referenced in Finding Nemo, as mentioned above ). I'm gonna guess "Come on Knock on Our Door" is a Three's Company reference. Edited June 7, 2013 by Shiftie
pyoobez
Not sure if it's a reference, if it is I'm unfamiliar with it But I went into a shed out back of a house near the church and there were three zombies in. Two turned around to fight and I noticed the thid clawing at the wall. I killed him and realized he was clawing at the poster with the model on about Big Guns. I almost thought it was just random, but he was lined up like perfectly on the poster and showed no interest in me standing there.

Yeah, Ed said this to me (Marcus). Also, I've heard a few survivors say "Everything's coming up Milhouse!" Simpsons reference. YorkusRex
One of the houses near the church has a back yard with several large sunflowers and lawn mowers arranged to look like a slightly more horrific version of 'Plants vs. Zombies'.
