Dr Zombie Bones
Hi I will be visiting a friend later on today and he has told me to bring gears 3 up with me, my question is can I transfer my save file on to my USB then recover my gamertag on his xbox will I be able to advance my medals and stuff related to that on his xbox as we will be most likely spamming arcade mode at lot so is it possible? I ask this because i have heard it tricky to backup your files or something. Thanks
Grifter Reborn
U should be fine. If you want to have a backup for the "just in case" moment, try this: http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=334268 Edit: Just remember for your method, move the file, don't copy. ooo0ooooooo0ooo
What youre trying to do will work. But you dont have to recover your GT if you dont want to. You can just put it on the flash drive as well. All the progress you make at his house will be kept when you put everything back onto your xbox. Just be careful with signing in and out of profiles when two are signed in together. Data could be erased or overwritten if you sign in or out in loading screens. And if youre playing offline and a message pops up regarding corrupt save files, ALWAYS press or medal/ribbon/campaign/xp progress can be lost. tkhbecker
IF you're going to xfer your game data, why not xfer your GT as well?
