MeonOner
Nerves of Steel: I would suggest Act 2 mission 1. There are maybe 14-20 enemies, very little to no wind, most kills are up close, no overwatch and mission can be completed in 15min or less or expert. I will try this out tonight and see if its another way to get Nerves of Steel. Thanks!
bLaKgRaVy
You know what bothers and confuses me though? When people get mad when you correct them. Not pointing fingers, just saying. It's like they're mad because they know you're right or something. I mean I'm just trying to help people be correct you know? Thanks for looking out Gravy. You always have my back with some grammatical corrections . I will fix it ASAP. And hopefully finish this guide today, if work isn't on my back. No problem MeonOne. MeonOne and I have an understanding. I've proofread a couple of his other guides and we even jointly created one. I think he knows I don't mean anything by it; that I'm genuinely trying to help, especially for a game that I'm a fan of. Plus, I care about this site and want to help make the guides as professional-looking as possible. If things are corrected before submission, it just makes the guide team's job easier. Over on PS3T.org, their published guides have grammatical inconsistencies, bad spelling galore and are just plain poorly written guides. Not the majority of them, but I'd say a good deal of them. It's sloppy. I'm embarrassed at some of the early guides on this site as well. I guess standards weren't as up to par then as they are today, but what can you do? Nevander, when I was helping you with the Doom 3 guide, I hope you didn't take any offense to my suggestions. It's the way of people, though. I'm not a grammar nazi by any means, even though I want to correct people who are just plain idiotic in their spelling and sentence structures. It's like you have to say "no offense, but..." to everything you correct just so you don't piss the writers off. When I write guides, I welcome suggestions and corrections. It only can make the guide better. I guess some people are different and don't want or accept help. Edited March 18, 2013 by bLaKgRaVy
Nevander
Nevander, when I was helping you with the Doom 3 guide, I hope you didn't take any offense to my suggestions. No, not at all. The correct way is the best way, so if there is a mistake, it needs to be corrected. It doesn't bother me to be corrected, but it does bother me when people get mad when I correct them, lol. It's like why would you get mad over that, chill man.

Took around 11 minutes to complete. Mission only has 20 enemies, and I only killed 11 of them. After you blow up the AA guns. Run into the tunnel and hide in the shed. A patrol unit will start to walk your way, as soon as you see the last few patrol men walk by quickly sprint straight and make a left and continue to run to the end. There is no need to engage. Zymesh
thanks for the guide! will try the new Nerves of Steel Act 2 mission 1 and see if reloading a checkpoint when you miss a shot will help. EDIT: i missed on the second enemy encounter the one fixing the tank and reloaded the checkpoint. after finishing the mission i still got the nerves of steel. So i guess you can restart checkpoint if you missed a shot. Edited March 19, 2013 by Zymesh

aspeedomodel
I don't know if it's been mentioned but I found when boosting - private match resets stats. So if you've already done some ranked matches, those stats do not carry over, and in private you will need to do everything. Maybe a no-brainer, but figured it's worth mentioning... NorthernZoot
Great Guide! Got all but 2 of the campaign achievements on the first play through. I redid one mission for the 100% accuracy, and then had to go hammer out a few more pistol kills afterwards (want some fun? Play Act 3, Mission 1 using your pistol. That first section where you're told "Sneaking through won't be an option"... totally an option if you know how to flank and pick them off individually. Obviously there are some really long shots where the rifle is a must, but for the most part, the entire mission can be done with your side arm) Anyway, again, thanks for the guide! We look forward to your future submissions! I'm just curious but is "THE DEADLY DOG" completely blind or just partially? To quote The Sniper Elite50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.pngKilled 100 opponents in multiplayerhttp://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/icons/comments.gif (10) Self explanatory kill 100 opponents in multiplayer. Also try killing the opponents with headshots to work on "Kill That F**ing Band!" & "Blood And Tears." Multiplayer kills can be done in private matches with one other person. See "The Sniper Elite" for more details on the private match settings. I assume you can see the huge glaring error in this? You know the one that if anyone actually read the guide they wouldn't miss in the slightest, or did the skim read it for spelling and not actually check anything fact wise, hell its not even required to have the game to see this. It's a copy pasted section that refers to a section on the achievement its referring to. That is "The Sniper Elite" achievement referring to itself to go get info on how to complete, no info though just a nice circle to.

I don't know what you're on about, but the solution to "The Sniper Elite" in the forum and published to the site is: The Sniper Elite 50 Killed 100 opponents in multiplayer Self explanatory kill 100 opponents in multiplayer. Also try killing the opponents with headshots to work on Kill That F**ing Band! & Blood And Tears. Multiplayer kills can be done in private matches with 1 other person. Set up a private match with these settings: (These were the settings I used with my partner. We each took one turn after another. Each player will be able to get 3 headshots before the match is over. Just rinse and repeat until both players have everything.) Only game mode: Team Deathmatch Map: Resort (Small map, both players meet at the bridge in the middle) Minimum players to start: 1 Round time: 10 minutes Score limit: 500 Friendly fire: No Respawn time: 0 What on Earth are you referring to? I can guarantee that MeonOner, with how many guides he has written, wouldn't leave a glaring error like that in his guide. It may have been a publishing error at first, but has since been corrected. It's always been correct in the forum guide. Edited May 21, 2013 by bLaKgRaVy
