Best Packs

How anyone ranks them is really irrelevant. It should be what YOU enjoy.

Pinball FX2 is very good about having trials for each table. So, just play those, get the feel for them and go from there.

I like the vast majority of the tables, and the ones I wasn't sure of have grown on me. So, just play them, tinker with then and then decide. :-)

First off i do agree with the above comment but there are some that stand out and some that are not so good.

- Epic Quest is a must buy imo - its pinball with rpg elements.

- I really like the Marvel Avengers Chronicles Pack

- especially World War Hulk and Fear Itself

the later having prob the best skill shot ever.

Altho infinity gauntlet from that pack is quite disorienting at times

- Sorcerer's Lair is wildly agreed as a solid table too.

- First Marvel pack is good. The later 2 imo are much better and both worth buying. I'm not even into marvel and its awesome.

- Prob skip street fighter and the classics pack.

- Biolab is a lot of fun - with several off table mini-games.

- Pasha is an old favourite of mine.

- Skip mars prob - bit bland.

Hope this helped

Obviously which tables you enjoy the most, get!

Although I find some of the tables have alot more playability then others which are quite frankly just annoying, and low scoring. These tables are quite hard to control the ball which bounces alot from centre targets then going out, or have very hard features to unlock, like side kickbacks or ball saves, extraball.

Must Buy

Classic Collection - Start with these

Nightmare Manison - High scoring, easy table

Excalibur - Playable table

Mars Table - Very high scoring, easy table, missions can be tricky but can redo

Fantastic Four - High scoring playable table

Captain America - Very high scoring, playable table

Sorcerer's Lair - Super scoring, easy playable table

Epic Quest - Fun, playable table

Street Fighter - High scoring table, fights are difficult, but multiball, extra ball easy

Marvel Vengeance and Virtue - Very playable collection all good tables

Marvel Avengers Chronicles - Very playable collection all good tables

Skip These

Core Collection - Annoying and low scoring not that good with features

Rocky and Bullwinkle - Stupid table, definite the worst of Zens tables

Earth Defense - Bad graphics hard to see the ball on upper left ramp, although playable

Marvel Collection - Relatively low scoring tables, not great on features

Haven't tried

MS Splosion Man

Paranormal

Plant and Zombies

You get a trial for each table which will give you an idea of how each table plays. Although you are given a Score and Time limit, this is enough to decide whether you believe a table is good enough for you. Of course like me I just bought them all.

This is what I did for my first 3 tables.

Played the trial and if I enjoyed and wanted to play further, I knew for my self it is a good purchase. Some of them when I played the trial I didn't had the urge to continue playing so I skipped those.
