Mongolian Beef
If you could only get 1: Point Lookout. Huge new map, like a whole new game. Better characters/missions. Fun shooting mutated redneck hillbillies. If you could pickup another: Broken Steel. Lots of battling at an air force base/ missile launching platform. Increased level cap, new perks. IMO the other DLCs sucked.
X monkfish69 X
Personally I think you would get better value from buying the addon disks. That way you get two of the DLC addons for £14.99 (or thereabouts). That's the way I'm going to go when I finish off the main game in Fallout 3. Jesper2207
Well, i would preffer to use my Microsoft Points if possible, before using my "real" money
RadiantViper
The first add-on you should get is definitely Broken Steel. It increases the level cap and makes it so the game no longer ends after the final mission (ie you can't free-roam). It's also just a damn good DLC, but the level cap + fixed ending make it essential.
mmartynn
id personally say get broken steel to continue your fallout 3 experiance. then when you get some more points buy the rest.
X monkfish69 X
Well, i would preffer to use my Microsoft Points if possible, before using my "real" money Ah, in that case then I say go with the first DLC then (Broken Steel) as I don't think you can go wrong with what everyone else is saying. XMisterSandmanX
Yeah you should get Broken Steel because of the level cap and the continued story. However I also thought Point Lookout was pretty fun.
Waggly Bean1604660682
Ah, in that case then I say go with the first DLC then (Broken Steel) as I don't think you can go wrong with what everyone else is saying. Broken Steel is the best to go with first for the raised level cap, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the first DLC. I have a feeling it was the third? The BEAst in I
A good order to get them in: 1.Broken steel (Raises lv cap) 2.Anchorage (good and straight forward) 3.Point lookout (Very good) 4.Broken steel (beware of ignots) 5.Mother ship zeta (imo the worst dlc for this game)
VladimirK
;3190391']I have a feeling it was the third? Yep. 1) Operation Anchorage 2) The Pitt 3) Broken Steel 4) Point Lookout 5) Mothership Zeta As for the OPs question. Don't buy any using MS points, it's a waste of them. You can get the GotY edition for pretty cheap now and it has all the DLC, sure it means you've used real money for it, but you will then get all the DLC and you'll have 800 MSP for something else. Paka
I would say Broken Steel followed by Point Lookout. Also agree Zeta is the worst-- so many holes in it, and just not fun, IMO.

Yep, or if you have a really nice friend with the GOTY version, you can borrow their second disc to install the DLC then return it to them same day, as you never need that disc again and can continue to play it off your original Fallout disc. I was going to lend a friend my GOTY disc 2 when he got Fallout, but the crazy guy played it for about 2 hours then gave up on it! Guess the game isn't for everyone.... Ozbaab
I'm doing Point Lookout now and it's really nice. Huge new zones!
PointPlaceWI
Yeah, they're all pretty fun. I can't say I enjoyed Zeta though. They'll add a couple of hours to an already decently long game.

paulsteinbach
I would have to agree with Broekn Steel because it adds new aspects like the higer level cap. Broekn Steel was very short though and I enjoyed Point Look-Out more.

Iregore
Borrow or rent the GOTY edition. Install all the DLC from disc 2. Play with your existing disc. Cheapest way to get all the DLC if you already own the game. Cheaper than buying one of the DLC alone.
hodge
Definately Broken Steel - it is the best value for money out of all the add-ons

Jakethemuss
I'd go for Broken Steel; it just generally has more to it, primarily it raises your max to lvl 30, but also I'd say its the longest and most challenging DLC, compared to Anchorage, which is short, linear and easy. None of them are bad, but I'd say Mothersip Zeta should be the last DLC you should consider, unless you are bent on having those sweet alien rifles. Its repetative and dare I say...somewhat boring. Its repetative and dare I say...somewhat boring. This is true. This one is very repetitive, and not a very wide variety of new weapons were added.
