erwinWPF
Alley-oop is X+A Pick is LB(hold) and dunk is RT+X (running towards the basket) There's an advanced controls list in the Settings menu.

Yeah just listen to this guy, and I'm not to sure if they have changed the shot stick (Right Analog Stick), they were supposed to change it to the dribble stick or something. But good luck on being new to 2K!
Demolition D
Is anyone else having a hard time with the controls I can't seem to get an alley oop or do a pick control or dunk Welcome to 2K! My advise to you and new players: Focus on the basic controls of pass, shoot, and R stick {dribbling}. Then I would master about two or three moves at a time. Practice. We are talking about practice! You have two options for shooting, Hold L trigger and pull down on R stick or just use X button. You can do both in a game and dont have to switch any setting. Good luck! dansome87
This is minor but also purchase the training camps, they give you skill boosts AND show you how to do special moves
