Ratpoizen
armour-piercing ammo is better against the rhinos as it is against most enemies. most people just prefer explosive ammo because of its "splash" damage and not needing to be as accurate. Shred Asics 13
It is cumulative it was the last achievement I needed and it popped after about 5 kills. People just like to exaggerate the amount of kills they think they have with it. Thanks for this. Yeah even playing normally and spamming Venom-X doesn't net THAT many kills. It would take a while to get 50 in one match. The first few times I only saved it for massive CF moments and the breeder. I spammed it last run through and maybe got 10-15 over 4 hives (with randoms). Wish ammo dropped more often.
Ratpoizen
Regarding the 50 Venom-X kills, this is much easier to do solo and very easy to get in one game! I find solo is easier than 4 players. In the last area you want to first plant the drill on the hive thats blocking the room to the Venom-X and as long as you don't die, obviously, you should be able to easily get 50 kills before the second hive is destroyed. Just remember to only use the venom-x if you know it will kill at least 2-3 enemies, don't waste it on one enemy unless a Rhino is chasing you. You'll get plenty of refills for it (it holds 4 shots I believe). I just got the ach halfway through the final area but died on the last boss!=( And I am NOT exaggerating this - play solo and you will see! Including the final two hives plus all the enemies on the final boss should net you 100+ kills in one game if you use it constantly (when you have ammo for it of course). I can see how it could be much harder to get with 4 players though. If you are going solo, unless you're amazing at the game which I am not, you'll definitely want to play as a medic and get it upgraded ASAP so your health regens very fast and your running speed is quicker which helps loads.
