Boomerang Cat
How much did you have to pay bale per week? For me he wouldn't even accept 250k per week because hes a rival. Gareth Bale is on a Wage of £200,000 per week, he wanted around £120,000 but rejected that, he also rejected £150,000 before finally accepting the £200,000. I had a similar situation with Mario Gotze who I signed from Man United (another rival to Arsenal) and the lowest he would accept was £275,000 per week! MindBeats
Ok, so here is my CSKA Moscow team halfway season number 1: Gk: Akinfeev 84 Growth: +1 = 85 Rb: Mario Fernandes 75 Growth: +1 = 76 Cb: Berezutskyi 76 Cb: Amorebieta 81 (winter signing) Lb: Schennikov 73 Cm: Lass Diarra 81 (winter singning) Cm: Marchisio 83 Growth: +1 = 84 Rm: Shaqiri 78 Growth: +1 = 79 Lm: Alessio Cerci 75 Growth +1 = 76 Cam: Honda 81 Growth: +2 = 83 St: Doumbia 83 Growth +1 = 84 I sold Necid for 16,5M €. Also, at the start of the season, Dzagoev demanded a transfer, so i sold him for 36,5M€. Marchisio cost me about 25M, Cerci 10,5M, Shaqiri 25M, Diarra 6,5M, and Amorebieta about 8M. I think I have a pretty good team with very much growth potential. Tell me what you think of it and improves or signings I shoul do or make. Edit: Also, I bought Abel Hernandez for 16M but he didn't have chances to play because of Doumbia so I loaned him for half season. And also sold Mark Gonzalez for 7M (he demanded a transfer too). . FlevoHD
Some players I found very worthful in my career with Shrewsbury; Marvell Wynne - 66 AVG Listed as a central defender, but way more useful on my midfield due to his fysicial stats: 96 Acceleration, 95 Sprint Speed, 91 Stamina, 80 Strength, 82 Jumping, 74 Balance and 76 Balance. His fnishing's only 43 though, so he's put to best use to rush through the defence and then give the pass. Jon Taylor - 61 AVG Like Wynne, very fast. He starts with 92 Acceleration and 90 Sprint Speed. He also has 80 Stamina, so he can last long as well. Only has 56 Strength, but considering his speed that shouldn't be any trouble. 59 Finishing allows him to make some goals as well Taylor is listed as an RM, but may be more useful in the attack if you have Lionel Ainsworth as well Lionel Ainsworth - 62 AVG Great guy to have behind Taylor. 91 Acceleration and 90 Sprint Speed makes him pretty much the perfect partner for Taylor. Has high Agility as well with 84, but his Stamina isn't too high with 69, so use him well as you'll most likely have to sub him before the end of the match. Piotr Celeban - 68 AVG Central back well worth the money. He has the speed (71 Acc. and 71 Speed), Stamina (82) and Strength (71) to make a very good defender in the lower leagues or for low-budget clubs. His 84 jumping makes him valuable when defending corners as well. Cedric Mabwati - 70 AVG Left winger with simply beast physical stats. 91 Acc, 89 Agility, 90 Balance, 91 Jumping, 91 Sprint Speed and 80 Stamina. Also has 70 Ball Control and 72 Dribbling, so he's the perfect man for the left wing to give the final pass. If you can afford him. With €2.9M he's not cheap and his €10.000 wage may also be pretty steep for low-budget clubs
Samao14
I recently began a new career with Newcastle Utd, after a season and a half the team is as follows: Krul 81 Piszczek 79 - S. Taylor 79 - Vertonghen 83 - Santon 79 Ben Arfa 81 - Cabaye 83 - Tiote 83 - Afellay 83 Ba 84 - Carroll 79 Subs: Kjaer 78 - R. Taylor 75 - Gosling 77 - Cleverley 77 - Gutierrez 79 - Cisse 82 - Rhodes 73 Reserve/Loan: Bannan 76 (on loan, Celtic), Ranger 69, Forster 77 I sold Coloccini in order to bring in Vertonghen in the Summer and thankfully the only player so far to demand a move was Kadar in the reserves who was easily replaced. Besides the commonly recommended Santon, I've been massively impressed with the growth of Tiote, he has become a fantastic central midfielder and comes highly recommended, as does Cabaye. Carroll's growth has been a little sluggish I think but I've only had him for this season and he is the league top scorer so I guess that counts for something. Krul is also a keeper I'm fond of and always grows to a stable rating in the low 80s for a fairly low price. I'd also recommend Gosling who has grown steadily without masses of football. I've been a little disappointed with Rhodes, I've had him since the start and I had hoped he would grow a little faster. Afellay has also failed to shine but he did have a serious injury so I cut him a bit of slack. Cleverley has failed to grow at all while at Man Utd (I think), but I only just got him and will probably get him out on loan next year when Bannan returns to get some regular football, and hopefully he can grow into the 80s. FlevoHD
Some more players that were very valuable for my Shrewsbury team: Craig Westcarr - 62 AVG Quite fast as well with 83 Acceleration and 91 Sprint Speed. His 66 Finishing also makes him a better scoring machine than most players in lower leagues. Fact he's only €250.000 makes him cheap as well, and he doesn't need much salary. Thiago Cionek - 69 AVG Central defender with the speed (71 Acc, 80 Speed), strnegth (78) and stamina (80) to become very useful. I got him for €550.000 and a €3000 wage, which I find pretty cheap for a central defender of his quality. Killian Brennan - 68 AVG Like most of my midfielders; quite fast and high stamina. Has 68 Crossing as well and is a relatively good free-kick taker wiith 65 free-kick accuracy. Brennan cost me €875.000 but he doesn't need much salary either
clarkw267
I've just been getting into Career Mode. My Team is Chelsea, and I put all the options on hard, so I just didn't have an unlimited budget. I have loyalty to my guys like Terry, Drogba, Lampard so I can't sell them yet. Lucas, Muniain, and Lukaku are all beasts though and will need to start soon. Oh.. and if you need a CM BUY RAMIRES. This guy does it all, his work rate and stamina are out of this world. He's my favorite player to control. Here's my squad now. I play a 4-4-2 with the outside mids pushed up a bit so they are almost wingers. First Team GK - Cech - 84 RB - M. Richards - 82 (Purchased for 12.5M) CB - David Luiz - 80 CB - Terry - 85 LB - A. Cole - 85 RM - Hulk - 86 (Purchased for 30M) CM - Lampard - 84 CM - Ramires - 81 LM - Mata - 87 RS - Torres - 85 LS - Drogba - 86 Subs/Reserves LW - Muniain - 81 (Purchased for 14M) CAM - Lucas - 82 (Purchased for 28.5M) CB - Cahill - 80 CDM - J. Mikel - 80 ST - Lukaku - 77 RW - S. Kalou - 79 RM - N. Redmond - 68 (Purchased for 3M) CDM - O. Romeu - 72 CAM - Mellis - 64 CAM - Benayoun - 79 GK - Turnbull - 74 Key Players on Loan LW - Malouda - 81(Age 31, Full Season) CF - Lucas Paizon - 61 (Age 18, Full Season) LM - De Bruyne - 77 (Age 20, Full Season) CB - J. Bruma - 74 (Age 20, Full Season) GK - Courtois - 79 (Age 19, Full Season) CM - J. McEachran - 72 (Age 18 Full Season) Key Players Sold Essien - 83 (Sold for 12.5M, Board forced me to sell) Ivanovic - 83 (Sold for 12 M) Bosingwa - 79 (Sold for 4M) P. Ferreira - 74 (Sold for 1M) Sturridge - 80 (Sold for 20.5 M) R. Meireles - 81 (Sold for 12.5 M) Edited June 5, 2012 by clarkw267

Samao14
Newcastle, March 2014 (Season 3) - (Initial Club - Fee - Summer/January Season X): Krul 83 Richards (Man City - £12.5m - SS3) 83 - Vertonghen (Ajax - £13m ish - SS2) 83 - Tomkins (West Ham - £11m - SS3) 80 - Santon 81 Forrest (Celtic - £17.5m - SS3) 81 - Cabaye 84 - Tiote 84 - Ben Arfa 82 Ba 84 - Carroll (Liverpool - £17.5m - SS2) 82 Subs: S. Taylor 80, R. Taylor 76, Cleverley (Manchester United - £10.5m - JS2) 79, Gosling 77, Gutierrez 78, Cisse 82, Rhodes (Huddersfield - £3.2m - SS1) 74 Notable reserves: Wickham (Sunderland - £5m - JS3) 73, Butland (Birmingham - Loan, £1.5m agreed fee - SS3) 67, Leali (Brescia - £13m - SS3) 78, Marveaux 78, Bannan (Aston Villa - £8m ish - SS2) 78 (on loan) I still recommend all players I recommended before, and now I am much happier with Cleverley's growth (he is also an excellent player). Carroll has gone from strength to strength and is much more enjoyable to play with (although he is not my top scorer this year). I can't recommend Richards enough, a fantastic player to use and probably the best young right back in the world - stole him for cheap from Man City reserves and was worth every penny. Forrest has scored plenty of goals and been fun to play with despite his lack of growth this season, however fingers crossed he'll go up a bit in the next few years. Leali is one for the future and has got a +2 this season despite not playing - I've been really happy with him. Wickham has also been a good back up striker in the brief time that I've had him and will probably replace Rhodes on the bench next season - Rhodes seems a bit sluggish (1 goal in 11) and still isn't quite showing the growth I'd hoped. Vertonghen has been disappointing, he has not had a single stat growth in nearly two seasons and has spent long periods out due to injury, so I'm likely to sell him in the summer and replace him with Subotic, Howedes, Clark or Dede (my summer targets before I chosen Tomkins). Nick Powell clearly has plenty of potential, but I've never managed to get him out on loan in two seasons of trying and he has barely grown in my reserves - I'm hoping next season he will prove me wrong. Boomerang Cat
I haven't visited this Thread for a while because I've been playing a lot of Max Payne 3, but I just wanted to thank the members of the x360a community that have contributed to this Thread. It's really useful Info for everyone who starts a Career Mode in FIFA 12. Sometimes players inform you they want to leave immediately. Shortly after the board will send an e-mail telling you that payer has to be sold This is one of the most frustrating things about Career Mode in FIFA 12, Players wanting to leave for no apparent reason. I've had my Virtual Pro request to leave twice during my West Ham Career Mode and Lionel Messi asked to leave at the start of Season 3 during my Arsenal Career Mode. If you get an email from the Board telling you to Sell the Player before the end of the Transfer Window, just Reload you last Save and you normally get a different email response telling you that "The Board will let you decide whether to sell the Player or not". M'vila and Busquets are both good options as a CDM, the only thing I don't like about Busquests is his facial likeness which isn't very good. My personal favourite Player that can play as a CDM in FIFA 12 is Yaya Toure. He's incredible all round, and even though he's a few years older than M'vila and Busquets, he still manages to maintain his Value many Seasons into the Game. xNat Hammond
I started my Career at AS Monaco with a really poor budget, which made winning games a pain in the a** at times, But the first player I bought on my current career was Jorge Henrique from Corinthians, he is rated 75 overall and valued at £2M. I'm now in my 2019/2020 season with St.Etienne with a yearly budget of £150M but I still always use Jorge Henrique purely because he is an amazing player! Looking at his stats there is nothing special except his great speed and long range shooting, Even if you are managing a top club I would recommend still buying him as a 2nd Striker. Also I would Recommend M.Traore from OGC Nice, he is rated 77* and relatively cheap, oh and he has a blistering long shot! But my all-time favorite buy Has to be Jeff Louis from Le Mans, I just bought him in my 2018 season for £4.5M and he is now rated 79 with 99 Stamina, and 99 Balance
