eaglesfan520
I've read in some places that you can get banned in halo wars for boosting in multiplayer in order to get to the general rank. Can anybody confirm this?
veece16
You probably would have when it came out. Now Bungie is focused on Halo 4 and monitoring Reach, you should be fine.
BigEasy
that and ensemble is no more
CAT4
Bungie did not make halo wars. Ensemble Studios is no more after the release of halo wars. This is the official website for halo wars. http://www.halowars.com/default.aspx In my opinion, people wont get banned for boosting. My friends are living the tale; they boosted and they didnt get caught.
Dude0508
Ya I would think by now you can really boost as much az you want on there as ensemble studios was alreaddy thinking of shutting down the survers for that game a few months ago.
aDisabledRabbit
Yeah, Halo Wars isn't really monitored much anymore. The studio that created the game (Ensemble Studio) has closed, the game's been out for a while and it hasn't got a very big online community. bblcreator8790
I have never heard of anyone getting banned for boosting in Halo Wars. Remember that Bungie did not make this game and they are the ones who are ban-happy. Boost to your heart's content.

chancy319
LOL. Halo Wars has next to ZERO online community. That and no one monitors it anymore.
AttendandAsh
I would agree with chancy319. There is a very small community to this game. I've never boosted before but to see that this is one of my last Achievements I would need to complete this game, I'm really thinking about it. Not really sure if I well or not. AttendantAsh
At about 5000 point per fight it would alone take about 192 to 200 online plays to get the required point to reach general rank. So not to sound cold, just play the game it is not a bad rts game. Just play deathmatch 2v2 and prey you kill a lot of the other players unit. On the boosting thing I earned all my achievement and I would not feel right about this if I boosted. Good luck to everyone looking to get this. T07WRX5
Doubtful you'd get banned for boosting in the game. Regardless I helped a friend do it once and it's an arduous task. Hardly worth the effort.
Johnnyboypro
Halo wars has more players online than people here are implying... 10'000+ at peaks hours. Thats not so bad compared to other games.
nappster187
i never heard of halo 4, cool Cool post.... Lol
CRAZY 7
my friend and I are boosting it as of right now and nothing has happen to us so far so I think you will be okay
DucknahEireann
When we boost we are really cheating after all so expect repercussions if anyones caught. Old games might not be observered or maintained the way newer games are but theres still the chance of being caught.
KNIGHTOFSERA
You probably would have when it came out. Now Bungie is focused on Halo 4 and monitoring Reach, you should be fine. I know people pointed out that Bungie did not make halo wars, but I dont think anyone pointed out the fact that Bungie is not making Halo 4 Bungie is basically done with Halo, they didnt even make the last map pack Edited July 27, 2011 by KNIGHTOFSERA
AK Punk
I boosted from Brig to Gen and didn't get banned for it. Just do it fast then if you do happen to get banned who cares you have all the online done with.
Tai_MT
If all you're looking to do is get the last two online achievements... Then why worry about being banned? The ban doesn't carry over into future games. Halo 3 was proof of that as everyone banned in Halo 2 got a second chance. Everyone banned in Halo 3 was able to play Reach as well. The game is BASICALLY dead. It's the reason I'm looking to finish it out here soon, before I CAN'T anymore. Besides, at 400 points a game... It's going to take for freakin' EVER to do. Getting to General Rank in REACH is much faster.
