Introduction:

KooZac is developed and published by Square Enix. The main idea of the game is simple: Drop the numbered blocks on top of each other to add up to the target value in the left corner. Not the normal type of Square Enix game, you know.

Step 1: Puzzle Mode

At first you should play through the Puzzle mode and try to get 3 stars from each level. Currently there are 4 stages which each consist of 15 levels, making the total levels to be played 60.

You get three stars if you can clear all the silver blocks out of the screen. I actually had to figure out how you can even get less than 3 stars since I got them all in one go. I got 2 stars from a level where the blocks made too high tower and reached the "death line" above them.

These should be very simple and you should have no problems at least with the first stages. If you get stuck, you can buy Boosts to help you. I suggest the Hint boost since it tells you where to put blocks.

You will be gaining at least these achievements for completing the Puzzle mode:

Complete the first level

Unlock all stages

Get three stars in all levels

Most likely you will gain some of the drop # of blocks and destroy # of blocks. Also the achievements for getting 10000, 30000 and 60000 points should come while playing in Puzzle mode. If you don't get them, they will come during your Endless mode playthrough.

Step 2: Endless mode (The Grind)

Now it's time for the most time consuming and boring part of the game. Choose Endless mode from the main menu and start the game. Immediately pause the game by pressing the Back button on your phone and then go to Boosts menu. Buy 3 boosts (Hint, Lateral addition and x2 multiplier).

Unpause the game and just start smashing the blocks down where the game tells you to. You don't need to count here yourself anymore, just let the game do it for you!

During this step you will be going for the coin achievements and if you still haven't gotten the destroy # blocks and drop # blocks, you will get them during this game.

See the achievement guide for more specific method in doing this. Thanks to neeker75 for sharing this tip!

Conclusion:

At the start KooZac seemed very fun and enjoyable little game for the Phone but when it comes to grinding for 100,000 coins the game just becomes too repetitive and boring. If you like to drop blocks on other blocks for 10 hours, you should definitely get this game!

Achievement Guide to KooZac

=============

ACHIEVEMENTS

=============

Complete the first level 10G

Complete the first level

Go to the Puzzle mode from Main menu and just complete the first level. You should have no problem with this as long as you know how the game works.

Unlock all stages 10G

Unlock all stages

You get 3 stars for completing a level if you clear all of the silver blocks. You should only move on to the next level when you get 3 stars from each level since you need to get 3 stars anyways for another achievement. The last stage unlocks when you complete the last level in Stage 2.

Collect 1000 coins 10G

Collect 1000 coins

See Collect 100000 coins for more info.

Collect 10000 coins 10G

Collect 10000 coins

See Collect 100000 coins for more info.

Collect 100000 coins 10G

Collect 100000 coins

You gain 1 coin for every 100 points you get in a level. That means you need to get 10 million points for 100,000 coins. This will be the last achievement you will get during your Endless mode gameplay.

Thanks to neeker75 for sharing this tip:

"The grinding achievements (amassing coins, dropping/ destroying X number of blocks) can be unlocked at one go by putting in the x2, lateral addition and hints boosts and playing endless/ infinite mode. Just keep putting the blocks where the game tells you to (with hints turned on) until all the grinding is out of the way."

We are looking at hours of grinding here so I suggest taking breaks and just play the game every day for about 30 minutes or how much you feel like doing. You can back out of the game with your phones Back button and close the game. When you next time open up the Endless game mode, it will continue where you left it last time. Good luck!

Drop 1000 blocks to get this one 10G

See Drop 10000 blocks for more info.

Drop 5000 blocks 10G

See Drop 10000 blocks for more info.

Drop 10000 blocks 10G

The achievement description tells everything. These achievements will unlock during the game. You will unlock these naturally while going for the 100,000 coins.

Spend 1000 coins on boosts 10G

Spend 1000 coins on boosts

See Spend 10000 coins for more info.

Spend 5000 coins on boosts 10G

Spend 5000 coins on boosts

See Spend 10000 coins for more info.

Spend 10000 coins 10G

Spend 10000 coins on boosts

Fastest way of getting these achievements is to start new Endless mode game and buy the most expensive boosts from the Boosts menu and then fail the game immediately. Then rinse and repeat until you get the achievement.

Note: You should spend coins only after you have gained the 100,000 coins. This way you need to spend the least time with your Endless mode gameplay.

Buy all Boosts for this one 10G

Buy all Boosts for this one

You will need to buy and unlock all of the Boosts from the Boosts menu. The total cost of them is 1,400 coins so you should only buy them after you have that much.

Destroy 500 blocks 10G

Destroy 500 blocks

See Destroy 10000 blocks for more info.

Destroy 1000 blocks 10G

Destroy 1000 blocks

See Destroy 10000 blocks for more info.

Destroy 5000 blocks 10G

Destroy 5000 blocks

See Destroy 10000 blocks for more info.

Destroy 10000 blocks 10G

Destroy 10000 blocks

This will unlock naturally when you are playing your Endless gameplay. Note that these achievements unlock only after the game is completed, not during the game.

Get three stars in all levels 10G

Get three stars in all levels

There are 4 Stages in the Puzzle mode. Each Stage consists of 15 different levels you need to complete and get 3 stars from. Three stars are rewarded for clearing all silver blocks in a level. These levels are fairly simple and easy to complete. If you are having problems with a certain level, just buy Boosts to help you. I would suggest the Hint boost since it tells you where to drop the blocks to so you don't need to think yourself!

Score 10000 points 10G

Score 10000 points

See Score 60000 points for more info.

Score 30000 points 10G

Score 30000 points

See Score 60000 points for more info.

Score 60000 points 10G

Score 60000 points

These point achievements will come during natural gameplay. They are cumulative so you don't need to score the points in a single game.

Hey there, in reference to the collect 100,000 coins achievement, you say that people can take their time and leave the game but you never say what to do in the achievement description itself. I would say something like, "to take breaks, press the back button to 'pause' the game and then come back to it whenever you wish."

Personally, I think the "10+ hours" is incredibly ambitious - I played this game pretty much daily, putting in roughly 15-30 minutes per day after I got the penultimate cheevie, until I finally got Collect 100000 coins, and it took about 30 days of that, on top of the play to get the other ones, so total time put in was roughly 20 hours...

If people read this and expect to get them all done in only 10 hours, they'll be sorely disappointed :-P

You're correct. I updated the approximate time :)
