Roadmap

Overview:

-Estimated achievement difficulty: 4/10 - 6/10 (Depends on your squad)

-Offline: 8 (120http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/g-icon.gif)

-Approximate amount of time to 120http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg: 1+

-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 4

-Number of missable achievements: None

-Do cheat codes disable achievements? No

-Does difficulty affect achievements? Yes

-Glitchy achievements: None

-Unobtainable achievements: None

-Extra equipment needed? Onslaught DLC, Multiplayer Update 2

Breakdown:

Gather yourself 2-4 members to be on your squad(4 is highly recommended). Always have someone sticking back for any level just to make sure you can keep progressing. If one person stays alive, you can respawn as many times as you need. Take out enemy vehicles as a first priority. Clear a area and then they will start sending in reinforcements. Find a good spot of where they spawn from and make sure no one is in the vicinity of the flag. If someone is, you won't take over the flag. This DLC shouldn't be too hard with some buddies. You can start on Hardcore and go right at it. But I recommend going through it on a easier difficulty first to figure out where the enemies/vehicles spawn.

The tank at the beginning of this one is the biggest thing to help you. With the tank this level will be no problem at all.

  1. Take the tank
  2. Always have a engineer in the tank to repair the tank.

First Flag - Go to the right side of the level and clear the area. There is a S-RPG in the center in a shack. Make sure you take it out. Once you cleared out the area, have the tank watch up the road and kill everyone that spawns to come to the village. After the first flag, a tank spawns on the left side of the hill. Have a Recon eliminate the tank.

Between First and Second Flag - Near the right side of the Second Flag, have two Recon classes have mortar strikes hit the Patrol Boat that shoots mortars at you. Make sure the person with the tank does not go near the sight of the patrol boat til it is eliminated.

Second Flag - Have your teammates flank on the right side near the water. Drive the tank up slowly and eliminate the enemies that spawn at the end of the road. Have a person repairing your tank as there are more engineers that will shoot rockets at you. Drive the tank up to the flag and just keep shooting the enemies until you have captured the flag.

Third Flag - There are two gunner vehicles that are in the center. Have the person with the tank to drive up there and eliminate the two vehicles with ease. Have your squad move up the right side as there are minimal amounts of enemies. Just have 2 people in the tank and have them shoot up the road killing any enemies.

Fourth Flag - There is a tank in the center of this village, have a engineer go and blow up the tank while trying to shoot it with your tank too. This tank is easy to eliminate. In the back left corner of the map is a Heavy MG. Once you kill the MG, drive the tank up to the flag and have your squad hide in the trench next to it. Shoot the enemies on the right side as that is where they spawn(parachute in). You should have this flag in no time.

Always have someone staying back behind the enemy's line of sight.

Have each of your teammates be one weapons class.

  • Assault - Best is the AN-94 Abakan with 4x scope and Magnum ammo.
  • Engineer - Always have the M2 Carl Gustav AT with Extra Explosives
  • Medic - Lay down fire and stay a bit farther back, healing and reviving your teammates when needed. Always have a tracer dart as a medic, you have enough bullets to load out regardless.
  • Recon - Always have mortars and keep the enemy at bay and not to advance to far on you.

First Flag - This one shouldn't be to much of a problem until the chopper comes. Be ready to have the tracer dart with your team and once it is traced, eliminate it with a Rocket as fast as possible. The faster you destroy this chopper the easier this flag will be to over take.

Second Flag - The second flag has many Heavy MG's located around it. Have 2 Engineers move up as some of the enemies are killed and use the Rocket Launchers to take out the Heavy MG's with ease.

Third Flag - This one may prove to be the toughest. A tank appears and can be tough on your team if not taken out quickly. Have a Recon call in a mortar strike or 2 engineers shooting Carl Gustav's with increased explosive damage. Once you have cleared the enemies front line, they spawn in the far right and left corners of the map. Have a medic go up to the flag and hide behind the crates. Everyone else set up camp and protect your medic from different angles(Recon snipe from a distance and 2 Assault classes kill any enemies they see advancing on your Medic.

Strategy One: (Makes this level easy)

The key to this map is the play conservative with your vehicles. If someone can fly the Apache, then this map will be very easy. There isn't truly a base strategy for this map. Always play as engineers. If you take the Apache route, there should be two in the Apache. And two people in the tank. Keep these vehicles protected as much as you can. If your Apache starts to smoke, fly away! The Apache is very powerful against infantry units, but not that good against ground vehicles. Their purpose is to kill infantry and the helicopters that spawn. The tank is to take out other tanks and to take over the bases.

Strategy Two: (A little harder)

Have two people take the tank and two people be engineers with tracer darts. Have the tank take out enemies and the engineers take out any major vehicles like Helicopters and Tanks.

This one is quite short and one of the easiest ones to do. Many of the flags are near a building so you can stay inside the building while defending the flag to capture it. Engineers will be very helpful because there are a lot of enemy tanks, buggies, and enemy Heavy MG's.

First Flag - On the way to the first flag there is a Heavy MG. Once you reach the first flag, stick inside of it and defend the perimiter while you capture the flag. This one shouldn't be to difficult. If it is, have someone stay upstairs as they will be out of the line of fire.

Second Flag - The second flag has a Heavy MG on the roof and a tank that spawns in the area. Take care of the Heavy MG with a rocket and then have your engineers take out the Tank. Take cover in the building and do as you did previously, protect the perimeter and raise the flag.

Third Flag - On your way to the third flag stick to the right side. Have a engineer destroy the buggy with a rocket that appears in the center of the area on the road. Then follow the train cars up the right side to get into the building. Cover the building's doors and kill the enemies in the area. Some may need to be killed on the roof so that you can begin capturing the flag.

:uzi:Wrong, finish each mission on Hardcore.

There are four difficulty levels, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Hardcore.

well im not as lucky as you and got to play it already. hardcore/hard difficulty w/e my point was that you just need to play through it twice and go on. no guide is really needed.

oh, and i can be cool too :uzi:

^see^

Well I assume each one (or hope anyways) would have a descripion of how to do it successfully

yeah, i assume he'll be giving strategies of how he did the missions. best weapons/classes for certain maps. paths of least enemy resistance. ways to save time. (i'm pretty sure i read that the missions are timed).

anyway, looking forward to the guide, sidedish.

add you a y in there ;)

and the dlc is out btw. go play it

theyre timed as in how long it takes you -- not beat it in a certain amount of time

i agree with the guy to say you beat it on hardcore, if its available from the start you can play each stage once (theoretically) and get all achievements -- no guide necessary as strategies and skills vary with different people and their preferences and therefore a guide will not be that helpful on this dlc

Not sure where my post went, but it is a LEGITIMATE question. How did you obtain a copyright so fast? You cannot put a copyright on something that isn't copyrighted.

A mod deleted it because of it being irrelevant. The website has a copy right, it owns anything that is made for the site. So there is a instant copyright..

Sorry, but recently is seems a mod or mods are a bit power hungry (for some stupid reason surrounding my former signature). Anyway, thanks for the info. I wasn't trying to be a dick, I was truly curious as to how you obtained one.

Anyway, I look forward to reading your tips for completing Onslaught on Hardcore. Heard it is tough!

No, I asked mods to clean up the posts in my thread. Next time message the person in a private message or something instead of in the thread directly.
