I get paid to get bitched at by people who download millions of toolbars, watch copious amounts of porn, and/or tamper with things their minds simply don't understand. After that is over with, I remote in and take care of the problem in a short period of time, hang up the phone, and then repeat with the next person.

Full-Time Student at McMaster University, studying Bachelor of Technology, Faculty of Engineering. 30 hours of class, 15 hours of commuting every week, but it's worth it.

Hey, I graduated from that school, except I got a Music Degree.

Jobs you can get with music degrees ---> cooler than jobs you can get with an accounting degree.

Outside my local Home Depot there's a vending machine that dispenses soda. I stand by the vending machine so I can help people get their soda, because the vending machine is broken. So people hand me their money, and I kick the vending machine and soda comes out, but sometimes it isn't the kind that people like so I tell them to shut up and deal with it. Refilling the vending machine is a problem though, because when this truck driver that delivers the soda comes around and checks the machine, he doesn't see how much money has accumulated at the bottom of the machine. So that's when I break out the Home Depot employee garb and tell the guy to not worry about the money, just refill the machine. So the truck driver fills up the vending machine with more soda, drives off, and then I remove the Home Depot uniform and unplug the machine. I make good money too, maybe $5 every half hour. Gets really busy over the summer. My workplace is conveniently located about 15 steps from my home, I live in the sewers under the Home Depot. Loved TMNT as a kid, you see. Livin' the dream.

LMFAO how did I miss this the first time I read through the thread? PRICELESS.

Except you don't even need a music degree to have a music-oriented career. Lol. That, and business careers pay more, realistically. The chances of someone wanting to make it big in music and make millions like the artists today...is very, very slim. Not bashing on anyone's dreams, it's just reality.

Besides, the music industry nowadays is GARBAGE. No one writes their own music anymore, and they sound awful live.

Oh man, I looked at the music industry and said nooooo thank you. I actually work in the business office for a pro-sports team so meh. I always say to people is take classes in stuff you find interesting because companies will train you anyway so you don't need to take that specialized degree title to get a job. I still use my degree for charity projects and personal projects (the kind where you're like I just want to do it because I like it and I'm not relying on it to make a living)
