keithernet
Hi there! My personal belief is that Shepard should look like the Shepard Bioware painstakingly designed. Customizing his face is a cool feature, but it really oogs me out to see YouTube videos with a funky bald looking Shepard. Do you modify Shepard's face? I say it's Sacrilege! mickjsg
I imported the same one I created in the first Mass Effect, I'd take a photo and upload it, but my xbox is traded in, getting the new Halo one in a few weeks.
BamseBaloo
I always seem to make my shepherd the ugliest thing every to curse the traverse... But then again I seem to have huge giggles whenever all of my teammates get hopelessly attached to me, calling me beutiful and whatnot. I also do this in most Bioware RPG's, Leliana was all over my big dwarven fugly bearded thing.. *ahem* So when I bought the games for my Xbox, no, I will not, except for my evul shepherd, which will be the precise clone of Admiral Cain from BSG. Thicketford
Yes, my Shepard is modified. I gave her a personal touch so I could relate to her more. I found the default face a little dull.
HeartSkull
I always seem to make my shepherd the ugliest thing every to curse the traverse... Same, I made mine when I first started Mass Effect, thankfully he doesn't look quite as bad in Mass Effect 2. Still I would have liked the option to import my character and then edit him rather than have either stick to the same one or created a new one from scratch. Elit3 m0nkey
I always seem to make my shepherd the ugliest thing every to curse the traverse Same, but only with my male Shepard. I actually managed make a pretty good looking female Shepard (which isn't that easy). OT: I generally feel guilty especially when I am being mean to characters I like (minus my love interest). The worse was when I didn't send an escort with crew, man is the Normandy empty.

Because you can import your character and edit his look.

The Elite Elite
I have never used a default Shep, male or female. I always control how she/he looks. (Mostly she though. I cannot stand male Shep's voice acting.)

BaldWombat
Each of my playthrus had a different looking Shepard and I tend to make the character look different for paragon/renegade runs.

institutions
I always modify it, because default male Shepard is uglyyy. I don't like his tall head and scary eyebrows. The Shepard I have now is probably what i'll have in ME3 too. I made it in ME1 and now I associate his voice with the face I made. That voice coming out of any other face will be too weird. Never made a Femshep.

Thicketford
I think default male Shep looks handsome. I can never seem to make a decent looking custom M-shep
Geezy
I always change the characters looks, for example i try to make my main playthrough (first one) look like me.
Jakethemuss
No way would I design my character to look like me. I usually try and create a hard-ass looking guy, maxed out jaw, neck, brow, goatee, military issue haircut. Basically the kinda guy you wouldn't phuck wit. Never made a Femshep. Hit the nail on the head. I did make a Femshep though and customized her as well. I tried to make them both good looking. I don't understand why anyone would want to play through as an ugly mf-er. The lulz aren't that great.
Burning Karma
I made my Shepard look like Jack from Lost (I named him Jack too to complete my reference) as best I could. I'm happy with it.
DiamondD
Yeah I also went with the default Shepard. After seeing him so many times on the teasers, trailers, posters and gameplay videos prior to the release of Mass Effect, it just felt kind of weird taking myself out of the experience and creating another person. Josh Benton
I have to make my own, otherwise i tend not to connect with the characters. I have had mine from Mass Effect 1 and it is always to me, how Shepard should look
ODST Kayne
No way. Nothing good can come from sliders. Ever. Default shep ftw.
