Psycence
Gobstones I fucking hate this shitty arse mini game....however I have tried everything I can and I cant win the last tournament.....it's just the traditional rules match I cant do. Any extra tips on this one match, it's driving me insane seeing as its linked to 100% exploration achievement
razzleson
Try over and over and over. Talk to anyone on my list who's played HP after I beat it and they'll tell you my hate for traditional gobstones. The thing I did do every watch was since you shoot first, turn your camera and blast your marble outta bounds. Then she'll break them up and you can move your ball around the edge for an easy shot. On an ending note, fuck that mini game. I was literally as happy when I beat her as I was when I finished Rainbow Six on realistic.
Psycence
I was just gently pushing the ball forward so it wouldnt break the circle...Would of been much simpler to blast the ball out It is just so fucking stupidly hard.....HP is a kid's game for FFS! It's a huge shame because I really like the game in general but it's ruining it for me.
Creech
I played marbles as a child, so beating the gobstones was not a problem for me at all. It really is just a matter of being able to control the speed of the marble which was a bit goofy at times.
razzleson
Yeah, I loved the game in general. But that mini-game made me want to stab Harry in the throat with a rusty fork. EDIT: Wow, what a lame childhood, Creech.

DeW222
One step better of just firing the gobstone out and letting them break it: try to just barely tap the ring with the gobstone. That way they'll still break them, but you'll be in the middle of the circle with angles to several possible gobstones you can knock out. After I started doing this I never lost. Laithan
For the traditional gobstones, my suggestion is you aim the ball to the outside of the ring, just dont hit any stones. then they have a go and hit the ring, none of the gobstones will go out. that is your chance to win, hit them out one by one. if you get a chance to hit two, go for it. After I started doing this I never lost. this is exactly what I did, I hit one and made it so my marble was inside the circle, then she had to break them and then you can get like 2 lead on her almost every time, so easy. Keytta
Another thing to remember is that you can move the angle of the camera almost to ground level. Many people try to play has an overhead view but that is harder to line up. Get to ground level and you can almost perfectly line up the shot. Lunacy182
Thanks for all the tips. This ones been hard for me. Not breaking it first and getting at ground level has been a big help. I always seem to miss when I was doing it over head. Now I can actually aim.

Just three times...doesn't have to be in a row...Except for the Champion...I think...I can't remember very well...don't quote me on that part... Pieface
Nah I don't think she has too be beaten 3 times in a row, I think i had trouble with traditional, but gobstones was the worst part about the game.
Trinity3Sixty
You do not need to beat them three times in a row. Three times all together will get you your win.

Lord of Orion
Gobstones really are not that bad. The key is to play the other two champions first and get the hang of the speed and physics behind the balls first, and then take on the Traditional Champion. From there, you should shoot the ball out right away and then let the computer go. One thing that I found that could help is to let the computer hit their ball into the middle and restart if they do not hit their ball out of the circle. If you let them play until they hit their ball out of the circle, you can usually go up 2-0 before they get a point and then it is just play smart and screw up one if you need to. Also, the power does not matter on the flick up, just on the pull down. Pull down a millimeter and flick all the way forward and it moves just a little. Pull all the way back and push up just a little, it will span the entire circle. After you beat each of the champions, go to the paved courtyard and then you just need to beat the person that is in the corner by the gobstones court. Hope this helps to anyone looking. Pepperslappy
Most annoying part of the game... The Hogwarts champion never misses so unless you get the first ball and never miss you cannot win.
xnvy
i beat the snake pit person 3 times in a row but it says i didn't beat her:(, anyone know what to do?
Future Pirate
Did you make sure to beat all three of them?
sports_guy212
just completed, once you beat them 3 times you should have it. don't forget you can hit start and go to game info and it gives you a summary of your game stats, i would double check on beating the gobstone champs though
xnvy
Did you make sure to beat all three of them? I beat all three of them 3 times but just like razzleson said fuck that mini game, it's a pain the ass.
Daze Of War
I hate this to death. I get right to the end to hit the one to give me the win and for some reason the marble shoot 300 mph across the screen even though I barely pushed it.
sports_guy212
gobstones was definitely the WORST part of the game
