WWE'13 Alternate Achievement Guide And Road Map

Recommended Posts

Hi, so I decided to do an achievement guide for WWE'13 after I saw that, there was none on the actual landing page of WWE'13. However there is one in the forums here . My guide and road map however is a little different, and so I thought why not. So without further ado, first up the ROAD MAP:

Overview:

Estimated Achievement Difficulty:

  • Offline: 5/10
  • Online: 9/10 (bad servers, and the long grind involved in getting King of the world)

Offline Achievements: 41 (875 G)

Online Achievements : 7 (125 G)

Approximate amount of time to 1000:

  • Offline: 8-10 hrs
  • Online: 30+ hrs

Minimum number of Play-through needed:

  • 1 for Attitude Era
  • 1 for Universe Mode (from 1st Extreme Rules to 1st WrestleMania)

Number of missable achievements: None

Does difficulty affect achievement: Yes, some achievements can only be achieved on Legendary

Glitchy Achievements: None

Unobtainable achievements: None

Extra Equipment Needed: Boosting Partner for Online Achievements

Introduction:

WWE 13 is the latest and the last wrestling games coming to us from THQ. If you are an existing fan of the WWE gaming franchise, you should be able to pick the game up quickly. If you are not, I suggest you play some matches in the exhibition mode, get a hang of the control before jumping into the Attitude Mode or the Universe Mode. The creation suite is as fun and in depth as usual, though Championship Belt Creation feels highly limited. Online play has always been WWE games biggest roadblock, and it does not seem to have improved, which makes the online achievement a pain. The offline achievements though are straightforward and can be achieved easily.

Step 1 : WWE Attitude Mode

This is by far the game's best and most entertaining mode; it is akin to Story or single player mode on other games. It places you in the shoes of WWE greats such as HBK, Stone Cold, The Rock etc. and pits you in the middle of iconic matches during the Monday Night Wars of the 90s. The good thing here is that your actions in the "Attitude Mode" adds to your overall achievement aggregate (for eg. no. of matches won, and no. of tables broken).

My suggestion would be to play this mode on Legendary Difficulty (it helps towards Invincible man see below), bringing it down for tough individual matches. Try to complete all historic optional objectives, and unlock all the bonus items and matches. Move on to the next match only when all the objectives of the earlier have been completed. By the end of the Attitude Era mode, not only would you have the story related achievements (185G), but also a host of other general achievements. This should net you about 350G(+-100G).

Step 2: WWE Creation Mode

WWE has quite a creation suite, its not Skyrim, but its quite in depth. First up start off with creating a wrestler. Take your time and create one that you like, because you would need to play with him to earn some achievements. Next move onto "Create a finisher", then to "Create an Arena", "Creat a Logo", and finally to "Create an Entrance" and "Create a Story". Once done go to MyWWE>TitleManagement>Add Custom Title; here create a new title.

Next upload your creations to the Xbox Live servers, and review 5 other items on Community Creations. To get your content reviewed atleast 5 times, use this thread here.

By the end of this run you should have netted about 85 G more.

Step 3: Universe Mode/ Exhibition

You can round up all the exhibition themed achievements before you go into Universe mode, but note that those achievements can easily be had in the universe mode itself, irrespective of what it says in the description. Use your Custom Created Superstar to win and fulfill certain criteria to finish off the host of achievements here. (Note: The Streak Ends can only be completed in Universe mode, which is not mentioned in the description). You should have all of them by the time you finish your first Wrestlemania, and if you don't, the mode is just endless cycles of matches (remember you can edit the matches to your requirements in this mode), where you can wrap up your cheevos as leisurely as you want.

Step 4: Online Mode

If you are still here, then you should really like your wrestling. Nothing much to do here, but play as many matches as possible on Xbox Live and try to win as many. You earn points for your performance each match and level up accordingly netting cheevos on level 5, 10 and then the max level (presumably 15). You also earn one for winning 10 matches. Please note disconnected and games quitted will not count, also play in ranked matches only for gaining points. The game has server issues, so it might be some time before you get all of them. If you require boosting, check out the thread here.

Conclusion:

Its not as difficult as most games out there, and if you enjoy your wrestling games, you should be able to net the elusive 1000G very quickly

Win 10 ranked matches online. Any kind and any type will do. You can see how many matches you have open XboxLive and start a new match.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/TheStreakEnds.jpg

This can only be achieved in Universe Mode. Wait until you reach WrestleMania (or simulate upto that event), and edit the participants of a match to Undertaker(Current version and not the attitude era) and your Custom Superstar. Make sure the difficulty is set to Legendary, and just beat him for the achivement to pop. Can be clubbed together with "A once in a lifetime event".

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/GoldStandard.jpg

Again can be earned in Universe mode. But first you need to unlock the ECW championship (done by winning a championship in Universe mode, not in a match made by you, but one set by the AI, you would first have to win the #1 contender match) and the WCW championship (done by winning the World heavyweight Championship in Universe mode). Just create a title match for any of the championships and make your CS win them one by one. You can hold all 3 titles at the same time, and the cheevo should pop. If it doesn't try dropping the titles and winning them one by one, holding just one at any given time. Note no difficult criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/InvincibleMan.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Just win 20 matches with the difficulty set to Legendary.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/AManWhoWastesNoOppurtunity.jpg

Can only be achieved in Universe Mode. Once you win the Money In the Bank Match, just launch the WWE Championship match and/or the Heavyweight Championship match (try the other one if the first one doesn't give you the option). You will be asked if you want to cash in your money in the bank; select yes and win the match.just use it as soon as possible, because the AI might simulate the cash if you don't.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Established-Veteran.jpg

On Xbox Live, keep playing matches and level yourself up, until you reach level 10. Disconnected matches do not count, and only ranked matches affect your level.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/KingOfTheWorld.jpg

On Xbox Live, keep playing matches and level yourself up, until you reach level 15. Disconnected matches do not count, and only ranked matches affect your level.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/berserker.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Just break a grand total of 50 tables, chairs and ladders (announce table also count). In some matches, the chair may not break after 4 strikes, please note that these will not count. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/MrMoneyInTheBank.jpg

Win the Money in the Bank match at MITB PPV in universe mode with your CAW. To make it easier, create 5 random superstars, and take their attributes to the minimum. This should allow you to win easily. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Comeback.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Can be done with any superstar, who has the comeback ability. Once you are sufficiently damaged, and you don't have a finisher stored, the comeback option will flash on your HUD. After pressing the 'Y' button twice (one to activate and the other to actually start the comback), you will be asked to finish a QTE, if succesful you are awarded with a finisher. Should come naturally through the Attitude mode. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/AOnceInALifetimeEvent.jpg

Can only be achieved in Universe Mode. Just edit a match at Wrestlemania and put your CAW in it. The achievement should pop once the match starts. Can be clubbed together with "The Streak Ends".

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/AWinningCombination.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Should be one of the first achievement you should unlock. Can be done with any superstar. When you have a finisher stored and your opponent is on the ground, press the UP key on your digital pad. Your superstar will start taunting and the opponent will stand up in a groggy position, just hit your finisher and pin him successfully to get it.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/OneOfHistoryGreat.jpg

Can be achieved in Universe Mode or Exhibition. Requires a superstar who has an attitude version unlocked. Just defeat the current persona of that particular superstar with the current version (for eg. with 99 Kane beat current Kane). Note match has to be on Legend Difficulty.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/IJustKeepEvolving.jpg

The opposite of One of history's greats. Requires a superstar who has an attitude version unlocked. Just beat the attitude version of a superstar with current version (for eg. beat 99 Triple H with current Triple H). Note match has to be on Legend Difficulty.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ALegendBegins.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Can be done with any superstar. Just win a match on Legend Difficulty and the achievement will pop.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/FightingSmart.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Can be done with any superstar. In any match you have the option of targeting a particular part of your opponent's body. This is achieved by pressing RT when you have your opponent in a grapple hold, and then pressing the corresponding face button (Y for head, A for legs, X for right hand and B for left hand). Just hit the same body type 10 times in the same match and the achievement will pop. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Negotiator.jpg

Can be achieved in Universe Mode or Exhibition. Can be done with any superstar. Just take part in a "I Quit Match" and win it. Its pretty straight forward just like Last Man Standing. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/AllOriginalBaby.jpg

A climax of sorts for all your created content. Just create a title match for your custom title (assign it your CAW in My WWE>Title Management>Custom Championship>Select Superstar) and put the match in one of your custom created arenas. The achievement should pop once the match starts. Should be clubbed with "The ring is my home!" and "Create and destroy". Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/TheRingIsMyHome.jpg

Just play a match in your custom created Arena. Should be clubbed with "All original baby!". Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/RisingStar.jpg

On Xbox Live, keep playing matches and level yourself up, until you reach level 5. Disconnected matches do not count, and only ranked matches affect your level.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/MadeUpOriginalStory.jpg

Requires a Custom Superstar or Custom Arena. Go WWE Creations>Story, and just create a 1 match story involving your CAW. Just finalize and save for the achievement to pop.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/YesYesYes.jpg

Self explanatory. Can be achieved in Universe Mode or Exhibition. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ReachedTheRopes.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Can be done with any superstar. When you are caught in a breaking Point Submission (Sharpshooter, Camel Clutch etc.), sometimes you have the option to crawl towards the ropes using your analog stick. Reach the ropes before the Breaking Point meter fills (you can either tap buttons or use the analog stick) and the achievement will pop. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ASuperstarIsBorn.jpg

Can only be achieved in Universe Mode. Just edit a match and add your CAW to match in Universe mode. Win the match and the achievement should pop. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ArenaDesigner.jpg

Self explanatory. Just create an Arena in the create mode. It can be a blank slate, the cheevo will pop as soon as you save it.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/CheckOutMyEntranceVideo.jpg

You can only create entrance video for Custom Superstars. Also note that creatinig an entrance movie from the Highlight Reel will not net the achievement. You also require 570 MB of disk space. Just go to Create>Entrance Video, select a custom superstar, and finalize, the achievement will pop once the video is encoded and finished.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/PainToolMagician.jpg

You can create a logo from Create>logo, or download once from Community Creations. The achievement will pop once you add the logo to either a Custom arena or to a Custom Superstar.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ThisIsSpecial.jpg

Just create 3 finishers, from Create>Special Moves. One for Front, top rope and corner each, and the achievement should pop. Each move should at least have 1 move before you can save it.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/TheChampIsHere.jpg

This option is not under Create but under MyWWE>Title Management>Custom Title. There are not many options here, just choose a design, a strap, a plate, a name and you are done. While you are at it assign it to your CAW by using the Add Superstar option. This will help in "All original baby!".

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/CreateAndDestroy.jpg

Once you set up the match in "All original baby!", the title can be found near the bottom corner of the announce table. Just pick it up and hit your opponent with it to unlock the achievement.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Awesome.jpg

For this, you first need to create a Highlight reel. This can be done during a match. In the match, just after hitting a finisher, pause the game and go to Highlight Reel option. You will see a small clip of your just finished finisher. Just save that clip. Next go to WWE Creations>Highlight Reel. Here just select the clip that you just saved, Just toggle through the options and select take a screenshot option. Once the screenshot is saved, the achievement will pop.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/AFreshBeginning.jpg

On Xbox Live, play a ranked or player match. Note winning or losing does not affect the achievement.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/WelcomeCreatorCircle.jpg

Upload your Custom Superstar, or Custom Arena, or Special Moves or even logos, and wait till they are reviewed by 5 people. You can also use the achievement trading thread here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Critic.jpg

Just review 5 upload on Community Creations by different people. It can also be an empty comment you just need to rate an item. Go to Xbox Live>Community Creations>Download. Select an item, select View and then select "Send Review". The cheevo should pop after you have made 5 reviews.

Achieved in Attitude Mode. Cannot be missed.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/HolyShit.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Requires 2 super-heavyweights (for eg. Big Show and Mark Henry). In the match make up a finisher (or assign a finisher from the start to your superstar). Throw your opponent into the turnbuckle, you should see a prompt to hit the 'Y' button but with OMG written across it. Just press the button, your superstar will perform a ring breaking superflex, awarding you the win by KO and the achievement. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Mankind.jpg

Achieved in Attitude Mode. Cannot be missed.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/WatchOut.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Can be done with any superstar. You can reverse any move by timing the RT button, just time it before a finisher and the achievement will pop. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Rock.jpg

Achieved in Attitude Mode. Cannot be missed.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/ItsLikeACarCrash.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Can be done with any superstar. If you are playing the Attitude mode, there is a match where you actually have to do the above as an objective. Just store a finisher Irish whip your opponent to the corners of the barricade on either side of the Announce table and hit the Y button when prompted. Note no difficulty criteria here.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/YouCantLetYourGaurdDown.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Requires a superstar who has a catching finisher (CM Punk, Undertaker, HBK, John Cena, Randy Orton, Big Show etc). This can be a little tricky, and can be performed against superstars who are attempting an aerial move (from the top rope or from the apron). If you have a finisher stored, you will get a small window to press the Y button before your opponent attacks, if landed successfully, you will catch your opponent mid air and hit them with your finisher (looks very cool). Note no difficulty criteria here.

I did this on Normal difficulty using Randy Orton against Justin Gabriel. I assigned infinte finishers to Orton and kept on Irish whipping Gabriel onto the apron (not a strong one, just the one that sends him over the rope), so he will attempt an aerial move, got it in a few tries.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/BorthersOfDestruction.jpg

Achieved in Attitude Mode. Cannot be missed.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/RattleSnakeIsComing.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Can be done with any superstar. Just start a Backstage Brawl match in Exhibition or in the match creator in WWE Universe, and give your superstar a finisher. The match starts in a corridor with a window behind you, just Irish whip you opponent onto the window, and press the Y button when prompted. Your opponent will go crashing through the window, while you net the achievement.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Austin.jpg

Achieved in Attitude Mode. Cannot be missed.

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/RingHooligan.jpg

Similar to "Berserker".

http://1hw.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/OhMy.jpg

This is counted across Attitude Mode, Universe Mode and Exhibition matches. Can be done with any superstar. Another OMG situation, and another objective you will have in an Attitude Era match. Just clear the announce table by pressing LB near it, then Irish whip your opponent towards it. Grapple him when he against the table and then climb the table by pressing LB. If you have a finisher icon stored you will see the OMG prompt, when you pick him up from the table. Just press the Y button and see the table break and the achievement pop. Note no difficulty criteria here.
