My first achievement guide, don't flame me if I make mistakes, just tell me what I can do to it :)

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/-AKrPg==.jpgMaster of the Blade 5G

Successfully complete all batting lessons and challenges.

Complete the lessons found under 'Legends Coaching' at the Menu, then do the challenges. Be aware that I think the last batting challenge is difficult.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/-iOiiw==.jpgMaster with the Ball 5G

Successfully complete all of the bowling lessons and challenges.

See 'Master of the Blade', but this time for bowling

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/-8NaGA==.jpgDynamite in the Field 5G

Successfully complete all of the fielding lessons.

See 'Master of the Blade', but this time for fielding. There are no fielding challenges.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+mGx4Q==.jpgRaise the Bat 5G

Score 50 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match.

See 'The Triple Ton'.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+4FJcg==.jpgThe Big 100 15G

Score 100 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match.

See 'The Triple Ton'.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+aBAxw==.jpgThe Double Ton 30G

Score 200 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match.

See 'The Triple Ton'.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+EC4VA==.jpgThe Triple Ton 40G

Score 300 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match.

If you want this quickly, slog every ball (B), but time it correctly. You will get the 50, 100 and 200 run achievements on the way. Slog shots are risky though, ground shots are safer.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+2esWg==.jpgAshes King with the Bat 50G

Score 500 runs in an Ashes Series with a single batsman in single player.

Does not have to be done in one game. There are 5 tests with two innings each, so you can spread the 500 runs between the ten innings. Must be done in one Series.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+odUyQ==.jpgPower Hitting 10G

Hit 6 fours in 6 consecutive deliveries in an innings in single player or ranked online match.

Can be tricky. Easier done by pressing A and by going on the front foot or back foot. Does not have to be done in one over. Can be done at the end of one over and the start of the next.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+Tm5CA==.jpgThe Blazing Blade 20G

Hit 6 sixes in 6 consecutive deliveries in an innings in single player or ranked online match.

Quite a hard achievement. Easiet done by hooking the ball on the back foot by pressing B. If pitched at your feet, hold LB and hit down the ground. Does not have to be done in one over.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+xiwvQ==.jpgThe Hat Trick 30G

Take 3 wickets in a row from one bowler in a match in single player or ranked online match.

See 'The Top Hat Trick'.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/+vhILg==.jpgThe Top Hat Trick 40G

Take 4 wickets in a row from one bowler in a match in single player or ranked online match.

Try boosting the Hat Trick achievements, as it will be a lot easier. This will help if going for the 'Raise the Ball' achievement. Or you could swing the ball in from outside off stump, but I have not tried this. The way I got my wickets was by bouncing out the batsmen.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/-1qj1w==.jpgRaise the Ball 20G

Take 5 wickets in an innings with a single bowler in single player or ranked online match.

Just pick one bowler and get 5 wickets in one innings with him. I find this easier with a spin bowler, as there is a better chance of a catch.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/-rpbRA==.jpgIf You Want Something Done Right 75G

Take 10 wickets in an innings with a single bowler in single player or ranked online match.

Very easy to get by boosting. Just choose one bowler and bowl it straight at the stumps. Make sure that you don't get any wickets with a second bowler as there will be an over in between the overs that your chosen bowler will bowl.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/-JtS8Q==.jpgNought and Nought 20G

Dismiss a batsman for a duck twice in a Test Match in single player or ranked online match.

Must be done in a test match. If you get about 3 or 4 batsmen out for nought then it increases your chances of the achievement. I don't think run outs count.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UPrlHiE=.jpgKing Pair 40G

Dismiss a batsman for a golden duck twice in a Test Match in single player or ranked online match.

Same as the 'Nought and Nought' but must be done on the batsmen's first ball, quite challenging, but try boosting for this achievement. I don't think run outs count.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UPsF5rI=.jpgAshes Destroyer 50G

Take 40 wickets in an Ashes series with a single bowler in single player.

Go into Ashes mode and choose two bowlers as it will make this easier. I did this with James Anderson and Graeme Swann, and they both got at least 40 wickets each. Once achieved you can use other bowlers, but use two bowlers until you get it.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UPkk7wc=.jpgDemolition with the Ball 40G

Bowl the opponent out in 10 overs or less in single player or ranked online match.

Easier done by boosting, as it is harder to get the CPU out in less than ten overs.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UPjEF5Q=.jpgODI Domination 40G

Score 300 runs or more in an innings of an ODI Match in single player or ranked online match.

Easily done quickly if you slog every ball. Shouldn't take too long. You do have limited overs to do this in however.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UP1m-G0=.jpgTest Match Domination 50G

Score 600 runs or more in an innings of a Test Match in single player or ranked online match.

Do this quickly by slogging the ball. Must be done in one innings and cannot be split between the two innings. You have unlimited overs to do this in.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UPyGBP4=.jpgTen Wicket Defeat 75G

Win a Test Match by 10 wickets in single player or ranked online match.

The easiest way to do this is to bowl you opponent out for a low score, then bat till you reach about 20-30 runs more than your opponents score. Bowl your opponents out for another low score, and achieve the target without losing a wicket.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UP6nDUs=.jpgInnings Defeat 75G

Win a Test Match by an innings or more in single player or ranked online match.

Easier than it looks. Bat first and post a huge score. Bowl your opponents out for a low score. Enforce the follow on (if available, if not then it will not work) and bowl them out again, and the achievement is yours.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UP9H9dg=.jpgODI Champions 75G

Win a full-length ODI Tournament in single player.

Go to 'Play Now' > One Day International, change the settings to easy, Tournament and 5 overs. Win matches (3 of them) and achievement unlocked.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UPxg4dY=.jpg20 Over Champions 75G

Win a full-length 20 Over Tournament in single player.

Same as 'ODI Champions but choose 20 Over instead of One Day. Win the 3 matches and the achievement is yours.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1058/UP2AGUU=.jpgAshes Champions 100G

Win an Ashes series in single player.

Just win the Ashes in the Ashes Game mode. All you need to do is win 3 tests and you win the series. Note that you must complete all 5 test matches to unlock the achievement.

Note that if going for the 6x4, 6x6, and the bowling achievements you can save the game at any time and reload so you get the achievements

You may want to say with the Triple Ton, to make sure you know the risk of slogging every ball.

Trust me, trying to hit 6 6's on Test Difficulty, in Lara, resulted in 8 wickets been lost.

Not the smartest thing I've done, but it was still damn good fun.

Also, Power Hitting can be reached through slogging, but ground shots are safer ;D

Oh and with the wicket achievements, put the ball on off stump swinging into the batsman, right on the crease line. 8 times out of 10 you'll get the wicket.

Hope I helped you out

Just got my 1000 (second to it i believe), anyways rather than boosting online there is the option to save before every ball if you pause. I got the "top hat trick ach by getting one wicket then saving, then reloading if i didn't get a wicket next ball, and rinse and repeat till you have 4 wickets in 4 balls. ach still unlocked. can also be done for batting by saving so if you get out you on 299 you ca just reload.

just like to add that when going for the 6 fours and 6 six's achievement once you get a six for a four you can save your game and if you miss the next shot, reload your save game and try again, thats how i got it, probably want to add this into the guide.

If going for the 6 6's achievement u can always start a odi match and pick a good batting team and a poor bowling team (I used Bangladesh) and set their team to have 2 or more spinners. Normally they will bowl a lot at the start so advance down the pitch time a lofted shot good or perfect and it should result in a 6. Just keep doing that until u ave the achievement voilà

thanks for the replies i was just wondering weather it was worth renting for the 1000g, probably wont buy it cos i tend to get bored of cricket games after a day lol

I would rent.

Most of the achievements can be done in an online game. So if you get a friend then you can polish off alot of score right there (especially the tricky bowling cheevos).

You can also save your progress after each shot for the achievements that can only be done in single player.

The more time consuming ones are the single player Ashes achievements. It took me around 8 hours to win the Ashes but you can get a lot of your gamerpoints when playing through an Ashes series.

I would also recommend getting used to batting and bowling as this will help you complete the game quicker.

.

I apologise for the green text. Cant change it!

Bowl the opponent out in 10 overs or less in single player or ranked online match.

Easier done by boosting, as it is harder to get the CPU out in less than ten overs.

Found another way of achieving this one, I took my 9th wicket with the 5th ball of the 9th over, so i just kept bowling NOBALLS until i got a run out, didn't take too long, spose in theory you could do this for all ten wickets technically get all ten wickets in first over ;)
