MADasaHatter
So I finished the game on normal. I was going to do an audio/blueprint run through so I went to the Campaign menu to see what I needed. I switched to Easy. But then I remembered that I needed to beat the game with the other faction (who you choose at the end). So I leave the menu (back out, press B whatever) and then press Continue. The fight is abnormally easy. I mean, I can't die (I had the shield and health perk). It dawned on me that the switch from the other menu had effected my continue game. So I did an experiment. I went to Campaign. Selected Hard on any Campaign but then backed out to the Main Pressed Continue The last checkpoint was now on Hard (trust me, I died 4 or 5 times). So would this shorten my playthrough? Play through a level until its final checkpoint on Easy. Change the options on the campaign menu and then reload the checkpoint and finish it on Hard. To me, that makes things so much easier. Rinse repeat for the whole game. In theory. I haven't done this yet but I wanted to share. Edit: I checked the menu and it says that I have completed the last level on Hard. So yes, I suggest playing through a level on the lowest difficulty, beating it, doing the switch and reloading the checkpoint to get the short end of the level. WickedD365
Weaksauce! Just play the game on hard. It's not that bad.
Xavier0080
I can confirm this method works. I beat every level as you described and got "All Hail You".
bLaKgRaVy
It would help if we knew what the last checkpoint for each level was. This is a similar method that worked for Splinter Cell: Conviction. There was a list of every last checkpoint in the forum for anyone who wanted to do this. Solo Realistic difficulty - Rookie Style - Super Fast Realistic achievement Can someone find out and list where the last checkpoint in each of these levels are (since there apparently isn't a checkpoint system like in War for Cybertron)? I don't have the game yet; waiting for it from Gamefly. This will certainly help since I don't like having games for more than a week or so. Sure, as spoiler free as possible: 1: When you're crawling towards two guys duking it out. 2: When you get off the artillery and state it needs more energon, you start descending into unknown territory. 3: After your help is destroyed and you cross the bridge, before entering a door you have to pry open. 4: When you have to escort a bomb. 5: During the survive until the end segment (like the third part of this sequence), then there's an escape sequence. 6: After the Titan, before the escape sequence. 7: When you have to fight two titans. (you need to fight them on hard, sequence ends after both are dead.) 8: Right before you break into the control room. 9: after the wave battles that comprise this entire chapter, theres a save section to quit out at. 10: When your ally is working at a computer and you have to defend him with help from a few turrets (this sequence must be fought on hard). 11:After the boss fight, theres a safe sequence to quit out in before the level ends. 12: There is an escape sequence. 13: When you make your choice. Hope that helps, sorry if some of them are vague but didn't want to spoil anything.
pyroloveridge
hey MADasaHatter where can you see what difficulty you finished the chapters on? i finished them all on hard but didnt get the achievement, trying to figure out why..
BullZeye
I'm not so sure about this since the mission select screen doesn't show the difficulty you completed a level on, it just shows the difficulty currently selected so after you've switched to hard it will show as hard on all missions(even the ones you haven't completed yet). I'm not saying this doesn't work since I haven't finished the campaing at all(currently at mission 9 on normal) yet, just saying it's difficult to keep track of.If this does work however it'll certainly save me a lot of nerves! edit : Sorry, just noticed now that there's a little spark under the difficulties you have completed in the mission select screen if you hit .In my defense though it's pretty small and easy to overlook. Will give this a try right now. edit 2 : Well, according to the difficulty select screen I now have completet chapter 7 on hard. We'll see if this works for the achievement in the end. Lavindathar
im not knocking anyone who does it, although I can't understand it. I'm all for getting achievements, but I actually want to earn them. Just my opinion though.
Akatsuki Sensor
I like my games to be a challenge so I wouldn't know. It wasn't that hard, you just need to be patient and know your environments.
MADasaHatter
So far I'm 75% of the way through with all the levels. I should be done with the game tonight and I should get the cheevo (in theory at least). I'll let you now. I see one person got it this way so we'll see. Yes, you can check what the difficulty of each level is where the spark is right underneath just like BullzEye stated. What's good is that most levels end in a tough battle (which can lock you up on the hard difficulty) but then you beat it on easy, reload on the game on hard and you only have to push a lever or escape something exploding. Not every level but a good majority.
Bajan Elite
They shouldn't call them achievements anymore since hardly anyone likes to actually them the legit way.
lee2705
This is lame my 8 year old brother completed this on hard in a single day without cheating, what's the point of your achievements if you don't achieve them. MADasaHatter
Thanks Bajan and lee for purchasing my game and telling me how to play it. I'm sure your eight year old brother is really going to excel in college and I wish him luck. No need to click the link and add nothing to a conversation. Some people were complaining in another thread about being stuck in several parts and this site helps people out.

lee2705
if people are struggling in parts why not post tips or walkthroughs? Instead of posting a cheat? And as for slating my brother yer he must be really stupid if he can beat a game without exploiting a glitch, maybe I can send him round to you and he can earn your achievements for you, would be even easier than glitching your gamerscore. Hopefully this will be patched soon
bLaKgRaVy
They shouldn't call them achievements anymore since hardly anyone likes to actually them the legit way. Bajan, did you achieve anything when you got your 1000 in Avatar? Or your points in TMNT or Fight Night 3? Hell, or even Game Room where you got every possible achievement you can get *without* playing a single game? How is that achieving anything? Your list of games is impressive, but just by completing those easy games, you're just as "lame" as every other member on this site. Both you and lee2705, welcome to the site where their main goal is to post ways to unlock achievements the easiest way possible. If you want to earn them the legit way, that's your prerogative. For most games I do too. If someone is finding the Hard difficulty too hard, then it is their right to search out easier ways to complete it on said difficulty. But don't blast people who want to unlock them easier just for the sake of your inflated ego thinking that you're better because you don't "cheat". People can play their game however they want, and neither you or anyone else has the right to tell them how they should play it. Period. Just by being a member of this site, I'm sure that both of you have used a guide or a video for unlocking a certain achievement that's been giving you trouble. Don't be hypocritical. Hopefully this will be patched soon It's not a cheat. How can you even say that? It may be a glitch, yes, or maybe the developers intended for it to be in there. Did you ever think of that? Same with War for Cybertron; if you complete the last checkpoint of every level on Hard, you complete the whole level on Hard. If they never fix it, then how can it be considered a cheat or glitch? "Hopefully this will be patched soon" - why? Is it a "glitch" that you're "exploiting"? Does it have a direct impact on your personal gameplay? If not, why the fuck should you care? If it is not affecting you, why the hell should you care if the 2 million other players who bought this game want to utilize this "glitch" as you call it? Do you think that if your brother completed the game on Hard, then everyone who plays the game should do it also? What business is it of yours how another person plays the game? What the fuck? Do us all a favor, revoke your membership to this site if you're gonna have an attitude like that. Like I said, this site is for unlocking achievements the easiest way possible, and if you aren't going to contribute anything, then why be here? Lame. I, and 65,000 other members on this site, are going to continue to play games the way we want to, and if that includes "exploiting a glitch", then I'm going to do it. I have 162 games under my belt. I've probably played at least 155 of them "legit". I don't hack or gamesave, but if a developer is stupid enough to leave something in a game that makes it easier for us gamers to complete it, I'm probably going to use it. What have I contributed? Look at my other 1,250 posts and you'll see that most of them are about achievement discussion and contribution. I just realized you're not worth my time. This is not the topic of this thread. Have fun.

Look at his awards, he has silver guides and road maps (which is at least 5 if im not mistaken) and helped everyone get the 1000 people online on nba (So did I ) He obviously contributes to the site and helps people in need if they need to know how to get some achievements. Another thing, some people only rent games or gamefly them, they don't have the time to play the campaign on the hardest difficulty, or maybe they don't like the game or have more games that they enjoy more. Bashing people for finding better uses of their time..? You should rethink your outlook on life.
