DecadentBeaver
I don't rent as the quality of Lovefilm is poor. So now I just trade. If I get some cash I'll buy, like yesterday I picked up Lost Odyssey for £2.99 in Game. Even NBA 2k6 was more expensive!? Made no sense so I picked LO without any hesitation. xMissChibix
I buy games. I like to have my own personal collection so if I wanna go back to playing an older game then I can just get it off my shelf rather then having to rent the game again. Dexter010
I buy them because I don't have the option to rent them.... And as soon as I finish a game I try to trade it in with some other games for a few new games.
kicek82
With games getting shorter and easier its mostly rent, unless its something really good or a game with decent multi.
Boro Iz Rich
I rent games primarily. I only buy when I feel the game deserves to be bought. I won't pay developers for below-average games. I'm an ass, I know.
craigyboy9024
Only ever buy now, I used to borrow a few games from work because it was free, but now I changed jobs i but everything, trying to build a good collection, currently sitting on about 60/70 games, I have a lot that I havnt started or im trying to clean up off the back log, so I think I might slow down

Killcount00
When i was younger I rented but only because it was so far away to get to a store to buy a game, but now that I am older I just buy games.
Destro
I don't rent anymore these days... not worth it... If its a game i want at release and will keep, i buy it. Then if its an old game i just wanna do the campaign... i still buy it but for 15 bucks.. cost like 11-12$ to rent for a week... not worth it GameAcces and other renting by mail cost like 20$ a month... for 1 game, may be worth a bit more if you take 2 or 3 games, becase you can send them seprately and always have one game in your posession but unless you pay more to reserve game they send you old games anyway... and well im a MP kind of gamer, so it take me like 2 weeks to do a solo game... around 30 min to 1h every 2 days or so... not worth it. Opiate42
Buy when I find it for a price I'm willing to pay. Before all the rental places basically shuttered around here any time I tried to rent a game one of two things happened: 1) it was never in stock 2) I got it home but never had time to play it So I just stopped even trying. At least if I own it it will only collect dust until I get around to it. Then I have a pile to trade in for a new one down the road. Haven't paid full price for a game in years. DREDD
I more tend to rent these days. But if the game is fantastic and has replay value, I'm more then happy to purchase it.

adamrulz
I'll buy the big name releases if i want them, but easier games/whoring games, I buy off of ebay or CL, then sell them on ebay when I'm done. Actually sold My horse and me 2, Bully, and the 2 monster jam games on ebay for $180. I got them off of ebay for cheap a few years ago and realized they were becoming pretty rare, so I finished them and threw them online....PROFIT. I NEVER trade a game into a store. Sometimes I wish I kept them, just to have them but then I realize I'm never going to play them again so may as well put some cash in the pocket. Rymt
I don't get new games all that often so I tend to buy. Probably because now there aren't many games I play. Mostly Grand Theft Auto IV, Halo 3 and CoD4. Not a huge variety, I know.
xKRAIZEEMANx
I rent more often than I purchase...I live really close to a rental place, so it is really convenient for me. Also, it is very cheap, comparatively, to rent in lieu of buying. That is not to say I do not own a great deal of games, I tend to buy used more so than new, however. Carmona
I have never rented a game. I have over 200 games played. The key is buying games on sale and flipping them on ebay. Over the years I've been re-using the same money over and over.
wilrc6
Im a collector so prefer to buy, but because im so addicted to achievements I rent games that Im in no hurry to purchase. Usually easy kids games.
