Get a friend to host a game NOT you.

In Fortune Park area, there should be a guy named Janus, outside of Atlantica Casino.

Get your friend (The host) to save the game in a safe area, bringing Janus with him.

You (The co-op) person, then kills Janus. When he dies he should drop a briefcase, containing $50,000 (I've received $100,000 a few times). Smash the briefcase by throwing it, pick up the money and save (NOT THE HOST!). The host then presses start and reloads the game.

NOTE! - You might get booted from the game due to the annoying bug whereby the host saves the game and the coop person gets disconnected. So it might be quicker to just quit after saving and then rejoin.

Once reloaded, Janus should be alive and ready to be killed again.

Rinse & Repeat

I believe you can also farm PP in this way, too. Get a friend to host a game and join. Collect a few survivors, but don't take them back to the safe room. Save the game at the nearest rest room to the safe room. Take the survivors to the safe room and save the game (NOT THE HOST!). Get the host to reload the game, you should keep your PP and the survivors should still be there.

This works really well, especially when you have the magazine (From the security room) which gives an extra 25% from saving survivors.

Edit:

It works with PP too. Here's a video, so that you get the general idea of how to do it.

My friend (In the video) and I have also found out that if the co-op person buys something, such as the Sports Car / SUV / Chopper Key etc and then quits without saving, the host keeps the keys (Forever) and the co-op person keeps their money.

PS: This was a nice place for my 360 to crash earlier, LOL (http://silxx.net/dr2.png)

What's cheating about the second video? You take the survivors there, quit out, take them again and you end up at level 31, what do you do after?

LEt me explain the host saves the game right at the restroom with 8 survivors so you and you co-op buddy go to the safe house get your points the other player saves his progress then the host just reloads his game starting at the restroom again then you do the same thing over and over again till you level up to 50 or what ever you want. Does that make any sense.

One more thing TC make a good guide of this and get someone to sticky this.

^ That's how.

The host loses their PP when they reload their save, but the co-op person keeps theirs.

The video was just basically showing you how it's done from the host's perspective.

You need 5 million PP for level 50.

easy way to make money in SP is to use the big slot machine in this video [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ckc6tNId_aw]YouTube - Dead Rising 2 - Quick & Easy Money[/ame]

first clean the arena surrounding it and use the two gambling books

i've also use arcade stick with turbo mode and tape the b button. 5h later i had 20 million (started with 500k) [note1 - whet time will come to give zombrex to katey and you fail the game will stop - just continue from there]
