BucklingLeader
NOTE: You will not get this Master of Ceremonies achivement right away, and it may take forever, but this works. Your going to be hosting a match. Set up a private or public match Set the match time to 60 minutes Go to advanced options and set AUTO LAUNCH TIMER TO 30 SECONDS (very important) Now, go do something else for 8-9 hours...like sleep. Make sure you get the achivement before exiting multiplayer. Anyway, as long as you have a could solid connection, it should just replaying the same map over and over for 60 minutes. Now, for the Master of Ceremonies, its the same thing, only instead of 60 minutes, set it for the fastest time limit (which I think is 5 minutes). Make it public, because at this time I am unsure if you need another human player in your room or not for it to count. Sit back, and let it run. No idea how long it will take. graf1k
I got the committed one last night. I started playing multiplayer at around noon with PaleGringo and Bloodybunnies and a bunch of other people on here and we finished around 6:00ish, so I just kept running 1 hr matches until I got the achievement. It took about 4 of them.
BloodyBunnies
If my internet connection didnt drop every 5 hours i would be able to get this...but i start matches and let to go over night wake up and im sitting at the multiplayer selection screen...meaning i lost connection during the night. graf1k
Bunnies, I timed out a couple times too, but as long as you don't exit out of the multiplayer screen, the timer is not reset. You may take longer, but it's still doable.

graf1k
Wow, well if you have to sign back into your profile it might not work. I thought you meant like you got dropped from games.

graf1k
If I were you I'd raise hell with my ISP. Getting dropped every couple of hours is bullshit anyway.I get pissed when they do scheduled maintainance at 3:00 AM for an hour.
BloodyBunnies
All they will do is send a tech out and replace the modem, happened to my wife while i was in iraq. doubt it would fix anything. if i had other cable internet options i would change providers. UraMallas
Can't you just pause it, in a multiplayer match with your friends? I'm trying that right now... after that I plan on changing my timer for starting the match to "off" and letting it sit on there if it doesn't work the way I'm doing it now. I know you can unlock achievements this way because I got my "Unyielding" earlier today. I also plan on getting my "500 Head shots" in about three games over the course of 3 hours tomorrow maybe... cursedgriffin
i set it up just like the original poster said. and when the autolauncher gets to 0:00 nothing happens. it just sits there at the pregame lobby. am i doing something wrong? i made an xboxlive private match, with 60 min rounds and 30 second autolaunch. but im the only person in the game. so do i have to have someone in the game for it to actually launch? BloodyBunnies
you need another person unless you do campaign or coop territory...
SilentSpartan
You do not have to be online to get the achievement...you can do local or system link....but i had another person on the other team when i did it...so try to get 2 wired controllers if you can cause the one wireless shuts off in like 5 minutes
BloodyBunnies
I have my profile on a wired controller and the guest on a wireless, in local play... if the guest controller goes off it still cycles the matches and i can still go and kill controller 2 and he will respawn. Hopefully i get my 8 hours today
Spitfirex007
Man can't yall play this shit normally??!?! I thought the whole point of achievements were to say hey look what I EARN! I understand this is an achievement site..but come on! Alll I ever see are post finding the quickest way to earn those stupid Gamerpoints. Its fucking sad that people rent games or play them on easy just to unlock some more points.
ocfp
at 5 min matches roughly 85 hours to get 1000 matches 1000/20(games per hour)=50 hours. 2 straight days +. this i see as such a dumb achievement. even 100 seems ridicules.
Magician NG
5x1000 = 5000 mins 5000/24 = 208.3 hrs 1 min load timex1000 = 1000mins/24 = 41 hrs for load time 250 hours, minimum, for hosting 1,000 games at 5 minutes. At least its not as bad as playing 10,000 games in Quake 4.
BloodyBunnies
Dont have to be in the match for the whole 5 minutes...Coop territory lasts 1 min per match you'll die fast.

If 5 minutes is the minimum time limit, there's no way you can do 20 games per hour. Not unless someone breaks the space-time continuum and somehow and hour becomes equal to 100 minutes.
