k2345
I have reached a point accross a number of game's where I believe I can either soldier on & get the full 1000G or I can say I have other games which I want to complete and that "xxx"G is the best I feel I can do at the moment, basically where do you feel is the cut off for points where you decide if you want to get the full 1000G ? iBuzz7S
It varies across every game I play. I tend to complete the SP portion of the game and see where I stand. If I feel like playing more, I will continue with the game and/or achievements. If I do not feel like playing more, I will leave it as it is and move on to something else. For the sake of not being Debbie Downer, I would say... 500-749. I see this as the average number of GS you can obtain through the SP experience of many games. ChickinOnaChain
I get what I can in SP and don't even consider the MP and ones above easy difficulty.
crusin
depends really i do the single player ones first and if i can be bothered i will try and complete it and i do get most of the co-op ones aswell somtimes
darkmoon218
I'll say my stopping point is 500-749. In most of the games I've played, once the Single Player campaign is finished I'm around 500 or so points. After I finished a campaign I check roadmaps and try to get all the achievements that I can. SicklyPlague
750-1000 for me, i mean if i get that much in a single play through then why not go for the full 1000?
dakisbac
1:gsicon: is the point of no return. Once I've got gamerscore the game it's getting completed (if possible).
quidyg
if a game has an easy 1000 i'll try and finish it, sometimes time consuming lists as well but only on games i know i'll enjoy until i complete it. if a game has a hard list/or i finish it but cannot be bothered to continue i'll try to get it to 500/
Ridin Thru the416
It usually depends on the game. I say after 500 I am satisfied, but i try to get as many possible cheevos as i can. Edited March 27, 2012 by Ridin Thru the416
HabsCen10ial
1:gsicon: is the point of no return. Once I've got gamerscore the game it's getting completed (if possible). This! If I start playing a game I intend to go all the way. It's a terrible habit but I can't stop now.
I H8ME I Santos
I try to get all the SP achievements and when it comes to MP I tend to try to get them but I don't worry about them much. I usually try to get as many of the achievements that I can possibly get but once I get 500+G I feel good about it.
Z3R0 S1X
I tend to go for all of the single player achievements in a game and possibly touch on the mutliplayer provided it isn't to time consuming (I'm looking at you Gears of War).
k2345
I tend to go for all of the single player achievements in a game and possibly touch on the mutliplayer provided it isn't to time consuming (I'm looking at you Gears of War). I will agree with you there, gears of war has annoyed me so much with the achievements and now that it is 2000G I feel that I WILL have to buy the dlc just to get a decent score
DecadentBeaver
I will set myself a realistic target for a game before I start. If I end up getting more than I planned, then I'll got for the 1000g. I tend to stick with games that have little or no online achievements if at all possible. Got too many games at the moment that I've only jusr started playing and have little gs attatched to them. Jakez123
750-1000, the game has to either be complete or near completion for me, so until i hit that Gamerscore bracket for the game then i'll play it (ofc there are some exceptions)
Skedarr
Depends on the game I'm currently going back through my old games trying to finish them off but a few of them are just INSANE grind achievements like a miss things such as all gold achievement on forza 3 and 4, and its just insane grinding so gets abit boring but its like I'm close now so want to carry on but finding the energy is just
Rasp
750-1000. If you can get all the way to around there. You may as well go for the 1000
dertswa687o
1:gsicon: is the point of no return. Once I've got gamerscore the game it's getting completed (if possible). This exactly. Once I start a new game I always know I'm going to complete it.
runswithscissors
Didn't really understand the question but I just try to get as much as possible on each game, so its a different number for everything
DODG3R
I try my best to complete whole achievement list on every game I play... Sometimes I love it sometimes I hate it.. But hey, that's just who I am an how I like to do things
Gackt
Im happy with 500 or more in a game, if I really like the game I will try to 1k it, if I don't...I'm not going to waste my time trying to get it 100% complete...I'm no completionist
Maka
Depends on the game. If I'm not really enjoying the game, and the last few achievement take forever, I'll stop wherever I am. Forza 4, I plan on stopping at 800 Gears 3, I plan to stop at 900 Most games however, I try my best to complete 100% whenever possible, time permitting. Dexter010
750 G and above. Then you're almost done with the game, so finish it or just get an as high as possible gamer score for the game you've the score in.
SevenJesterHats
As soon as i unlock a achievement, i will try and finish that game!
Daunting Lady
I try to get as many achievements as I can in a game. My goal is 1000, but sometimes that isn’t possible either due to annoying multiplayer achievements or achievements that require lots of grinding. I often start a game and play it a lot for a while and get most of the easy achievements then I put the game down for a long time and play something else. Then I go back a game and try to get the rest of the achievements.
