sirmix69
So for some reason, this makes me angry lol. Why didnt they make a fast travel Directly to The Lucky 38 Where your Suite is? It is in my opinion, one of my most visited places in the game, yet you have to make the extra effort to walk that much farther from the North gate to get there haha. Does anyone else agree with me, or am i alone in this one?
CaMmY95
I agree fully. It's even worse when you want too go to the embassy at the southern end!

I don't mind going threw the doors but they shouldn't have done a loading screen for each door that you go through..... like he said going down to the embassy is a pain...... Joel2211
I think it sucks because of all the loading it causes from the fast travel to the gate and then the 2 more from the lucky 38 and to the room lol. I would not mind if the loading did not take so long at times.
Ice Car
I completely agree. I honestly don't know why I move all my stuff to that safehouse when I get it even though I hate traveling there, since it takes about 3 minutes to get in the suite, and 2 more minutes to get out just to fast travel, whereas in Novac you would be in and out in less than half the time. Penguino Rojo
Not to completely defend them, but I think they didn't plan on that because they knew alot of people would not bother with the suite, or if they did it wouldn't be that often. I only checked it as often as I needed to change companions (which was once). Plus, not everyone would unlock the suite, why put in extra coding for something that may go unused by a large number of players? More coding means greater chance of glitches, do we really want that? C'mon now. They had to assume that players would use it on a semi-regular basis if its the only place you can send your companions other than their starting locations. And the extra coding comment is nonsense. With all the coding they put into the game, adding a couple extra lines so you can fast travel to the Lucky 38 is almost zero effort. Not to mention it was the only safe house where you could purchase furnishings. It has storage right next to the Workbench. The only thing it is missing is the Hot Plate or workable stove to make food items. They should have at least put a fast travel point outside the checkpoint, but no you have to go through both sections of freeside, the strip, and casino to get to your safe house. You don't have to go through Freeside to get there, you can fast travel to the North Gate of the Strip. Also, I couldn't care less that there's no fast travel point to Lucky 38 simply because I never used it as my safe house. I would much rather them put in a South Gate to the Strip. I'd also like to not have to go through a door immediately after fast travelling to Freeside, Crimson Caravan etc, that's just plain stupid. Velvet Kao
I agree with you. They should also have had fast travel available for the NCR Embassy as well because it gets really annoying walking all the way through The Strip to get there when completing 'For The Republic'.
