Not yet. That along with Serah's Exposure and Defense were some of the first DLC announced but looks like they will be one of the last released.

Thats lame, that was the 1st pieces of DLC teaser info, oh well :x

No official release date as of this moment but I would be surprised if it wasn't next week.

On a different note, if anyone wasn't aware, Pupu is rumored to be the next colosseum battle after Gilgamesh

I need to wipe the drool from my mouth, after seeing this update coming up. Gilgamesh just HAS to be a hard battle... seriously, I want a Ultros x Typhon difficult battle.

And PuPu?! Oh man... lets just hope he doesn't start attacking with the things he was ganking off the world map... I don't want to be hit with random objects.

More info

http://andriasang.com/con0if/ffxiii2_dlc_update/

We previously reported that Gilgamesh will appear in Final Fantasy XIII-2's Coliseum Battle mode as part of the game's fifth download content. He won't be alone. Arriving simultaneously will be the alien-like enemy Koyo-Koyo.

Weekly Famitsu has details on both downloadable foes. Gilgamesh becomes an Attacker if you manage to make him into a party member. The chance of this is 25.15%. Koyo-Koyo will become a Healer, but he has just a 10% crystalization rate, so getting him may be tough.

Both monsters will arrive on April 10. Gilgamesh is priced ¥400/480MSP. Koyo-Koyo is ¥200/240MSP.

Noel's Assassin's Creed "Ezio" costume and Serha's Exposure and Defense costumes are also due out on the 10th. The Elzo costume is ¥300/360MSP. Exposure and Defense, a costume designed (and briefly worn) by an AKB48 member, will be free.

Looks like I'll need to buy some MSP then... Gilgamesh will eat up the 480MSP I have left from Bing Rewards, and I will NOT go without Serah's new costume. No sir.

Too bad non of the DLC for this game will have any bit of extra achievements.
As nice as it would be to have new achievements to go along with the DLC, I'm just thrilled to be getting new coliseum battles to play. Plus, I can tell you right now, IF achievements came out for ANY of the DLC packs, there would be a lot of people angry that in order to 100% the achievements, they would need to own the DLC. And I know I would be furious that I would have to PAY to get those achievements, if I didn't WANT to buy the DLC (then again, I've bought every piece of DLC for FFXIII-2 that's come out, but that's because I want to... not because I HAVE to. Which I WOULD have to, if it had achievements tied to it. Which would be BULL.)

The next character for Final Fantasy XIII-2's Coliseum Mode is Snow. Famitsu reveals that Snow will be joined by Valfodr in the next round of the game's DLC. We have yet to hear a release date or pricing, but expect this information later in the day.

For those who are wondering who the heck is Valfodr this is what is written in one of the fragments

Valhalla is a world where only the strongest

survive. Those who are born weak must hone

their strength and skills in battle against

more powerful foes. Mog heard that one of

the strongest monsters around was the

Knight Valfodr, so he decided to issue a

challenge.

...what the frack?! Snow... as a Coliseum battle. I mean... I guess it makes sense, given that we were given Lightning, Amodar, and Jihl Nabaat battles... so getting a chance to capture Snow (I mean, he already joined the team while roaming Sunleth Waterscape) is nice... but, it's a really weird situation here. Snow... and The Arbiter of Time teaming up to battle Serah and Noel? Weird. Just... weird. Though... all that hinting around, that Snow was actively LOOKING for the Coliseum is now given an actual story driven reason to happen.

I can only imagine that Snow will be a Sentinel... and that his use of Vendetta will be lethal, to say the least. Looks like I'll be using Goblin Chieftain, or Tezcat for this battle. I can't wait for the release date... I'm assuming next Tuesday.

...and more than anything, I'm hoping that this won't bugger up the idea of having a DLC side-story with Snow, explaining WHERE he's been this whole time. Having it all shoved into the little cinema sequence before the fight just isn't enough for me

Snow won't be getting side story DLC. Taken from an interview in the CE guide

Snow's story up to when he met a fal'Cie will be revealed in an official novel soon to be published in Japan. The latter part of his journey is detailed in the game in the form of texts available as the player retrieves Fragments.

I don't know if this novel is the "Fragments Before" novel that was released at the end of December in Japan or not, if it is there hasn't been any translations done yet that that I'm aware of.

What. The. Frack?!?! That's just bull, right there... making me have to read a freaking light novel just to find out what happened with Snow, and the Fal'Cie, and his encounter with Lightning. I'm actually a bit more than "disappointed" here.

Take back everything I just said

As detailed earlier in the day, the Snow and Valfodr download content will be released on the May 15th. Famitsu does not list a price.

Snow will have a new episode. The idea behind the episode came from the game's female staffers, character modeling director Hideo Kubota told Famitsu. The episode, whose theme is "Don't fight for me," will show the feelings Snow and Serah have one for one-another.

Director Motomu Toriyama said that the episode will clear up some mysteries behind the coliseum itself. We'll also apparently learn about Snow's mission as a L'Cie.

Valfodr appears in the second half of Snow's episode. He appears to be quite the foe, with the ability to use weapons, magic and summons. You'll apparently have to defeat him multiple times throughout the episode. Each time, he comes back at higher level and with additional abilities.

According to Toriyama, Valfodr was added to the game with the idea of having him appear as something like the Coliseum's last boss.

He's the strongest opponent you'll face in the Coliseum, and when at his maximum level is the most powerful monster in Final Fantasy XIII-2 as a whole.

Snow has a 30% crystal conversion rate (this indicates how easy it is to make him into a party member). Valfodr's rate depends on his level, but at maximum level the rate is 100% (which should give you an idea of how hard it will be to defeat him).

When in your party, Snow is an attacker with a focus on punches and kicks. Valfodr is a blaster with the same strength as an attacker. Among his learnable arsenal are Hellflame, Hellspark, Hellstorm and Hellfreezer.

Okay... now, THAT is what I've been hoping for, and wanting. None of this: "If you want to know what happened to <insert character name here>, you have to illegally download a poorly fan translated scan of the light novel released ONLY in Japan!" garbage.

I don't know if "Attacker" means he's a "Commando" (I'm assuming so)... and I'm assuming a "Blaster" is a "Ravager"? I don't quite know. Seems weird that he's not a Sentinel... but, I guess it'll work out in the end. And Valfodr having multiple encounters... THAT will be interesting. I'm willing (grudgingly) to wait until May 15th for this... hopefully they release some more DLC between now, and then... but if not, at least I'll have earned more than enough MSP through Bing Rewards to get it for free.

Thanks for the updated information.

That andriasang article apparently mistranslated the original article which apparently says Snow is a SEN when he joins the party.

and the Hell- Abilities that it mentions are the 4 fel- abilities that are normally exclusive to the various bomb type monsters get and the original article states that Valfodr level cap is 99.

And just like that, I'm 100% behind this DLC, and will get it the moment it's available. Boosh.
