MaleficusForte
does absolving/punishing count as killing? or do you have to slice them until they give up souls and disappear?

fastNcurious
Thanks for the guide!! I was confused at first by: "Lastly, 'Old Friend' and 'Forbidden Love' require you to absolve the shades in question. Even when you're going for Unholy first, DO NOT punish them, but absolve them..." The wording makes it seem like it's a missable achievement in that you must absolve them in your first playthrough or you're screwed. That is not true. Luckily I ignored it and did my own thing. On my first (unholy) playthrough, I punished those shades. My reasoning being that I wanted to max out my Unholy path and level ASAP. Since I have to do a second playthrough to max out the Holy path and level anyways for those achievements, I figured that would be the playthrough to absolve them and get the related achievements. It worked and I maxed out everything before even completing my second playthrough (which I did anyways just cuz it was fun). Just FYI in case anyone else gets confused on that bit. Pr3vention
The guide/roadmap could probably use some updating now that the DLC has been out for so long.

Manb3arSquirrel
I'm rather close to the 1290(?) for this game, but the trials are what are keeping me from it, I think. *sob* Not sure when I'll come back to this game; I really don't want to any time soon. :T
