I'm just going to post a link in my thread to yours and delete the rest of it. This thread was sorta my idea in the first place, but whatever.

Edit: Ok I fixed it, before we would have a big problem. You were offline, so I thought I might as well start on a thread. Looks like our effort to reduce new threads failed :p

Another song is Drain You - Nirvana. Rumoured because of this screenshot. http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/article/885/885168/rock-band-2-tba-20080629094115965-002.jpg

The lyrics are from that song.

Also bands that are rumoured:

Agent Orange

The Beatles

Built to Spill

The Buzzcocks

Journey

Led Zeppelin

Modest Mouse

Pavement

The Replacements

Tool

"Not only have you named some of my favorite bands, but you've also named some of the bands that are on the Rock Band 2 disc." So some of those bands are on Rock Band 2.

Oh, I know this isn't track related, but another RB2 news tidbit unlocked somewhere in my memory. RB2 is apparently going to feature Bo Diddley's guitar. Here's the article at Joystiq if'n you want to include it.

http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/08/rock-band-2-to-feature-the-late-bo-diddleys-guitar/

And just for the sake of all info in one place, maybe it would be wise to include a link to the official announcement so people can read those specifics? Just a thought. ^^

I love how youtube has Broke most of there Videos 90% of the time to alot of people

Yeah, I hate youtube.

For anyone curious: I added youtube clips of the rumored songs, but almost all of them would not play here. They playback fine on youtube.com, but not embeded on other sites (like this one), so I just removed them.

Testament - "Electric Crown" and "Souls of Black"

Sources:

http://www.rockbandmods.net/news/testament-coming-to-rock-band

http://www.rockgamer.com/2008/05/22/metal-band-testament-featured-in-next-rock-band/

and

Much rather would've seen "The Legacy", "Trail of Tears" or God-willing, "3 Days of Darkness" or "Killing Season". However, this a good example of an epic band giving up their good, well known material for Rock Band. Motley Crue have done the opposite. Giving us all their new shit that nobody knows. Their new song -- and I hate to say this about them -- sucks ass. Saints is ok, my kids love it. Whisky is ass.

DUDE!!! (Yes, I'm from California, and yes we start most sentences with "dude")

FINALLY some Alice in Chains -- and MAN IN THE BOX no less!!!

I hope that rumor is true, because that would truly match what Teasdale said about a very strong (he said "the best", obviously, he's selling the game) band lineup. If That new rumor of AiC, Linkin Park, Soundgarden, etc. is true, then it will reflect what he's saying.
