StW
Ehh, not to sure. Out of those 3..I love them all, but it would have to be either GTA or AC2, Red dead was really good but not as good as those 2.
jrkmbowman
oblivion was really good because of its space but i think the best looking open world (even though it was limited to its size) is [prototype]. manhatten at its finest
x27x AT3CH
id have to say other gta is good but not much to do other than go bowling, still good fun to drive around tho. oblivion is my all time fav (so far) cos there is loads of side quests and areas to explore creatures too kill ect. Boba Phil
I love Fallout 3, GTA's (all before 4, when they screwed up the driving), Assassin's Creed. But my fave is still Crackdown, just coz of the jumping from roof top to roof top. It was more fun than driving. Oh, and Burnout Paradise.

ginge88isfun
GTA IV, Bully: Scholarship Edition and Saints Row 2 for me. Once i've got round to playing on Fallout 3 i'll probably add that to the list.

A Satyr
GTA Vice city and San Andreas, I used to play those so much.
Straylow
Probably Fallout 3. My jaw dropped as soon as I got out of that vault. The game just felt so huge and I was only just now taking my first steps in the wasteland. I hope Fallout: New Vegas delivers the same feeling, but if you're already starting out in the wasteland, I dunno. And I feel like I should mention Just Cause 2, because that game has the biggest open world to us so far.

SnowSHOWERS
Fallout 3 or Oblivion are my favorites but FUEL has had by far the largest map taking over an hour to drive corner to corner
Starstrukk X360A
Prototype, Fable II, and No More Heroes. All of these are completely amazing.

ReaptheChaos
I'd have to say none of the above. I'm surprised you gave so few selections but my opinion would be Fallout
hodge
What about Fallout, Oblivion, Crackdown, Prototype, Just Cause, The Sabotuer, even The Godfather? There are alot of games missing from your list. Saying that, if I had to choose from your (very small) list, I'd say Red Dead
DJConnelly
Pirates of the Carribean on PC. Don't think many people here would have played it:P It's not related to the movies, just a really good open RPG. with a Mod ofcourse. Guess I'd choose Oblivion too. RuYi
As much as I adore the Assassin's Creed franchise, RDR's world had so much going on, definitely deserves my vote.
XBLsFinest
I'd have to go with GTA IV; then ACII. What about Fallout 3 thought that was fucking awesome.
Jakethemuss
Probably Fallout 3. My jaw dropped as soon as I got out of that vault. The game just felt so huge and I was only just now taking my first steps in the wasteland. I hope Fallout: New Vegas delivers the same feeling, but if you're already starting out in the wasteland, I dunno. I remember that moment aswell, you leave the vault and see the ruined city in the distance, with a sea of "wasteland" right infront of you. It looked totally amazing on my HD 37" Samsung. I would stand with Fallout 3 as the best open world game. It actually felt good to discover a new place on the map and explore it (with or without your Lincoln repeater at hand)
