Not rented a game for over a decade personally. Would also be a pain to download an entire game, would probably take like half the rental time up lol. I've bought maybe two games off it, just because I couldn't be bothered to wait for them and it was actually cheaper than ordering them with express delivery at the time. Wish I hadn't. I spent an hour looking for my Assassin's Creed:Revelations, then realized it was on my hard drive. But I don't think they will ever implement a rent feature. For around £20 I can get more games and movies than I can play/watch and I play/watch a lot! MS will probably charge £10 a week for one game.
