Okay, a little digging and I was able to find at least two things.

1. Co-op is for all platforms, not exclusive to PS3.

We were pretty excited to play Far Cry 3 at E3 this week but we got even more excited after learning at Sony's E3 2012 press conference that the open world first person shooter sequel would have a separate campaign devoted to a four player co-op mode. We got to play a small piece of the co-op campaign at Microsoft's Xbox 360 E3 2012 booth this week.

2. What is an exclusive is that PS3 users will be receiving free DLC.

Sony revealed today that players who will buy Far Cry 3 on the PlayStation 3 will be receiving free DLCs when it launches later this year. No details as to what DLCs will be free but we’re assuming it will be map packs or weapons for its multiplayer portion.

All I really care about is the single-player campaign. Co-op and multiplayer are nice but it's unlikely that the multiplayer will draw a huge following, atleast on the Xbox. Not because it isn't good but because you have games like Halo 4 and Black Ops II releasing right before this. With the two biggest names in online multiplayer putting out their games, Far Cry 3 doesn't have a chance - which is a bummer, especially since this series has so much to offer in terms of multiplayer. The level editor from Far Cry 2 was outstanding.
