Code of Conduct
Where did you find it in Mexico? Curious to see which area I should be searching in, instead of just walking around Mexico looking retarded.
Pogo27
It was the first animal I saw in Mexico after I did the mission that first got me into Mexico. However, on the pull-out map, it shows there should be some southwest of Las Hermanas, southeast of Escalara, and a bit south of Casa Madrugada. Myndsync
kind of hard to tell were when the herds spawn randomly. even if they are in certain areas, those areas are large. just gotta keep your eyes out for horses and when u see them, look for one that looks kind of white. they aren't straight white, more like a very bright gray. Well...they may not be straight white, but they're white enough that you know it when you see it.

MADasaHatter
I think I got lucky. Just a few minutes ago I finished a mission on Escalara and decided to go horse hunting. No sooner that I leave town (south end of town) then one goes trotting by daring me to catch it. I've never seen horses so close to a town before, basically by the road. But yeah, I nabbed it. Law
Look on the map just southeast of Escalera, you will see three horses on the map, look around there for a white/grey horse.
Code of Conduct
Wow, think I found the horse. It's kind of whitish grey sort of blends in with the sand and they were surprisingly all together in one group. Two ran in front of me and lassoed the one (really difficult which makes me think its a Hungarian) and got it. For anyone else who needs spots to look for the Hungarian try the "ale" in Escalera. That's where I found mine. EDIT: Yup, I got em boys. Thanks for for the help.

rawdeal42
The Hungarian Half-Bred that I found was in Mesa del Sol, and was found as part of the Stranger mission Love Is the Opiate.
T3z
These consistently spawn southeast of Escalera. If you look on your map, you can see animals drawn on it. These drawings show what type of animal is found in the area. Southeast of Escalera there should be a drawing of a herd of 3 horses. I went there and immediately found 2 hungarians. within 5 minutes...
Tha Mantis
How can you really tell what horse your on. No name pops up when you get on one like a car in GTA or anything, so I'm wondering how your supposed to know what the horse type is?
d00gler
Just gotta break an American Standardbred now and get Buckin' Awesome. I also haven't found the American yet. I looked for a while around Escalera but it didn't unlock after any of the darkest horses I broke. I will just continue to break all dark horses while I play thru the story. I guess it would make sense that the American horse can't be found in Mexico. Thanks for the tip I'll check in W. Elizabeth.

derblutenkat
For anyone else who needs spots to look for the Hungarian try the "ale" in Escalera. That's where I found mine. I second this tip...the "ale" of "Escalera" was the money spot for my Hungarian.
