deathwaker
ok i dont know if anyone can help me but im stuck on this mission. Its the one where you have to escort the king out of the area. Now this seemed pretty easy cause i can beat up the enemys with 2 attacks from 2 different fighters (usually i get 1 to melee then the other to use a bow to kill the enemy) but i have a problem with the king. Now this mission would be so easy without the king and being a king and all you would think he would sit back and let you do the work before he moved forward. But oh no he wants a bit of action so he uses his crummy bow to try and kill an enemy but instead he gets owned dumb king. So i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to clear out the enemys without the idiot king getting owned by to many enemys cause i have tried this 10 times with different things and everytime he runs off on his own, would appreciate the help here. cheers. For anyone stuck on this (or the following, similar mission): -Send an archer (with Mobility) to the throne & chests to loot. -"Lead" the effort, letting the rest of your crew gradually clear the crowd out moving forward. As always, kill mages first, but for this level leave badly damaged enemy archers alive so the king will stick around and opt to kill them. -Cast "Mending" on the king every few turns, and never let him get surrounded. (Again, "as always") it's better to finish off one or two enemies than to simply damage a bunch of them.
BelatedHero
It took me two tries to pass this mission. It seems overwhelming but its not too bad. What I did is have Calvin stick to the king like glue and heal him whenever he took a hit. Also, as said above, you want to make mages your top priority, even if your character is in battle with a soldier at the time, if they can make it to a mage in one or two turns, I'd pull them and kill the mage. They are that important to kill. Also, team up your guys. This is a strategy you should use throughout the game. Unless you are using them as a scout to loot chests or whatnot, You want to have two people attacking the same target (both either melee or range, don't mix). Those team attacks are uber powerful. Not in the sense that your guys hit any harder, but the extra hits add up. Its a free attack and will boost your total damage output by around 50% with all the extra attacks.
