St1fl3rR
Silver chocobo, get it to max level and infuse him (Pulsework Gladiator is one of them) for race bonuses. Also, make sure your chocobo is always fresh and not tired.
Ceris
A pretty good guide is in this thread here http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=355980
Ceromorth
List of what passive ability equates to a racing passive can be found here http://finalfantasy.neoseeker.com/wiki/Chocobo%20Racing%20(FFXIII-2)) Maxed out Silver chocobo with blue streak, 2nd wind, sprinter, marathoner and dark horse can win all races. Health Nut will mean you don't need chocoboost to improve its condition but you will make less money from bets cos odds will always be low. For blue streak choose the bottom strategy and only use boost when blue streak activates about 75% through the race

xobile
Gold or silver chocobo trained there guides every where for them, and if you just need coins, when it gets to the calling for races always bet on the favourite to win since they usually win or come second. And let them win if u do bet on them

xXKairi666Xx
My max level Silver Chocobo infused with a level 1 Pulsework Gladiator, level 1 Cactuar and a level 24 Microchu won pretty much everytime. Just watch out for competitors marked with a star because sometimes they came close to winning. Edited February 19, 2012 by xXKairi666Xx
