Im noticing that the AI sees you a lot more even with stealth. all guns blazing gets you killed a lot, and if your outnumbered then you die..unless you take your time with it. I died a lot till I started taking my time rather than assuming I was an unstoppable force, like you were in Crysis 2. so yeah, its harder but probably not that hard, if you take your time

Ya the above poster is correct, however its very doable. Practice picking off enemies from long range, and using stealth to avoid unnecessary fights. Positioning is key to combat, if you can isolate lone enemies, and use stealth between kills to avoid letting enemies flank you, you should do ok.

Btw checkpoints are a real joke :(

Second level: after infiltrating the first house, you have to enter the school and get to the hostage, afterwards destroy 2 tanks.

After firing the third missle of the first tank I died and where do I have to restart? In the first house LOL

Not even after the long cutscene with the hostage, no, in the first house! So I had to sneak myself into the school again, kill silently all people in there, watch the cutscene and fight the tanks and like 346456 soldiers again....

Errrm no thanks, there are too many good games out there atm to waste my time with delta difficulty :Bounce:

According to the achievement guide someone has started this us supposed to be a 4/10 game. Was gonna start on delta myself but judging by the comments on here I'm not sure if I will now.

As much as I appreciate people making guides I'm kinda getting cheesed off with the difficulty ratings on most roadmaps. Loads of games I've played lately are way harder than the roadmap says. Not sure if it's a bit of boasting to make the guide writer look better at the game.

I play pretty much all games on the hardest difficulty straight off and can handle pretty much anything that's thrown at me by most games but I still lol at games with 3 or 4/10 ratings when it clearly isn't.

I hear ya Optimus, though to be fair, I think the author meant difficulty more in terms of length of time needed/complications of getting the chievo's. Admittedly you can do this all on one playthrough, but Delta ain't for the faint of heart.

For anyone looking to do it, just made it through the first act myself on Delta, and found that finding a sniper scope (found in the fortified base before the excavation site) and attaching it to your regular assault rifle worked really well. By moving forward slowly, I was able to easily eliminate alot of opposition before they got too close and then switch back to reflex sights in close quarters.

I decided to start on Delta and not sure how far I am into the game. I've popped 2 achievements and glad to say they were added with no problems.

Seems fairly doable so far in delta. Only thing I've noticed is that a straight up firefight is ni on impossible. If your gonna engage the enemy do it at a reasonable distance and always have some cover. Also I have the aim assist on but it doesn't appear to work. I assumed aim assist would snap to the enemy and lock on if you aimed close enough but this doesn't seem to happen.

Delta is not that hard. The last boss fight might be a pain. But there are good guides on youtube that will make it easier.

There is a crate of unlimited supplies of rocket launchers on the deck. Just shoot and reload at the first mini boss and hide behind the same crate when the main boss comes. Take the flyers with the gauss and cloak if they shoot to much at you... armor won't work as well against those.

But like Crysis 2 most battles can be avoided by stealthily sneaking past a group of enemies in the first few maps before the docks.

I never used power armor much at all. Cloak works just as fine as enemies get confused and still fire at your last known position so you can hide, reload and regen. Aslong as they are green or yellow on the radar you can sneak up on em and they won't see you until you get close.

Distance is your friend along with silencers and single shot. if you take em out form a distance they will still call for backup. But have no idea where you are. And will just wander around. Tho this is not always a luxury you will have, but it works for the most part. As you play along you get better scopes with more zoom. I never found ammo to be an issue as enemies always drops ammo. And there are tons spread around if you bother to look in houses and such.

Just take your time. Use your binoculars to scout for enemies and tag em. And attack form a distance with stealth. Or the more loud precision rifle... then cloak and relocate. That works fine.

As for the aliens inside the mountain. There are incendiary ammo hidden around. If you can find those. The alines don't take much to get down. And the smaller fast movers on the outside only takes one gauss shot or one shot with the shotgun up close.

Its all down to how patient you are in the first half. And then you have to go more up close and personal.

Its not a 4/10 overall on difficulty. But the last boss can be more then 7/10. But the rest is not really that hard. If you got AI team mates. Let them to most of the work and stand back a bit.

As most of you said, its cake. Take your time use stealth and pick em off one by one. Start thinking your playing Call of Duty then die for it. Front on gun fights are not only a stupid idea but are fatal. Stick to the bushes/rocks/walls or whatever you can find for cover. Use your silencer, stay crouched. Last boss is the only mildly difficult part but once you figure it out then you wont have a problem. 4/10 is perfectly reasonable for this game.

I never noticed aim assist but if you are playing it right then they will be standing still or maintaining a steady patrol pattern so its easy to take them out.

Got it... 1000G! *yes*

I made it through Delta Skill, and all i can say is: Yes it is frustrating sometimes.

But with the Stealthmode you can avoid most fights.

Sure there where some "FU" moments (the endboss) or killed flying enemies which drop down and explode on you > restart checkpoint *argh*

It's mediocre on Delta and it is doable.

I noticed on Delta that your suit power runs down *slightly* quicker than other difficulties but not so much as to cause a problem.

I admit I was totally cheesy on the first few levels going alongside the beach, I just dived in the water and swam my way across, cutting out much of the level :p

But aye as some have already said, stealth is the key and only on a couple of occasions does the game piss you off (the 'escort' mission really did that at some points.)
