New Awards

We have a variety of new forum awards coming out, the first ones of which are for post count. We added an intermediate level of 2500 posts, and then added awards for 15,000 posts, 25,000 posts, 35,000 posts, and 50,000 posts. Obviously, nobody is even close to 50,000 yet, but based on activity levels I can see it happening in in the next couple of years. Besides, The Pants Party has to have a goal, right?

Our graphics team and the subscribers worked together to get these awards designed, so kudos to them for their time and efforts.

If you qualify for one of these, please post in the award request thread and let me know. As I get the other awards into the system, I will let you know along with details on how to earn them when appropriate.

Here are images for the new awards:

Very nice adding these. I am nearly to 2500. :)

Also just wondering, why does our site not offer Platinum awards like PS3T.org?

Like they have Platinum Trophy Guide Submitter and stuff. Why not have Platinum Achievement Guide Submitter?

Because it's largely arbitrary here, just like Diamond or anything else. Platinum Trophies are actually a thing on the PS3, so it makes sense for them to have that level.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of those on my travels around the forum.

I like the new structure you've given to the awards page itself as well. Now everything has its place. :)

I didn't even talk about the structure, but yeah, I re-organized a bit. :)

We actually are adding 3 more levels of awards guides and roadmaps, plus a whole other series of 6 awards for related stuff. LOTS coming, just have to be patient while I get them all set up.

 That's a lot of posts!

Are there more awards in the works aside from these and the new representer awards?

Yes. A lot more.

Who says there isn't?

I'm gonna suggest a 7500 post one.

This site is gonna be like gamefaqs by the time someone reaches 50k. It's good to see people taking the incentive to get stuff added however.

+1 initiative

I disagree with the 7500 post award - we've got a nice pattern set up here:

1000

2500 (+1500)

5000 (+2500)

10000 (+5000)

15000 (+5000)

25000 (+10000)

35000 (+10000)

50000 (+15000)

Though no one will hit 50,000 until xbox4achievements.org, even if the next console lasts as long as this one did.

I don't see the point in adding a 50k post one. No one is even close to that?

Probably made with a little foresight that somebody in the coming years would be active long enough to reach that number. Might as well add it when you are adding other ones right?
