Dug E Phresh
http://dianaraquest.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/plants-vs-zombies-final-setup.jpg?w=630&h=470 I used this setup and got to 47 flags I used this method and made it to 43 flags!! I could have gone further but i was sick of the endless part. If you have problems setting it up like i did i found a great step by step walkthrough. http://dianaraquest.wordpress.com/2010/07/02/plants-vs-zombies-survival-endless-100-flags-setup/
RuggersAssassin
yup, thats right. i gues Brambledamble found the same site i did, i tried it with Cob cannons and died around flag 38, then i tried without cob cannons like he did and finished with flag 45 only cuz i got bored, i guess i would have survived much longer. i used this one, cuz i guess its better against the bungie zombies. i also used ice mushrooms like he did and sometimes, cherry bombs, chilli and squash http://s2.hubimg.com/u/1455997_f520.jpg This one worked perfectly! Thanks. I was done setting up around wave 10 or so I think. I stopped at 44 due to boredom haha. The only thing I did differently was I put pumpkins on everything. I also used spike strips and upgraded them occasionally to avoid an onslaught of Zambonis. This set up should work for everyone. Just remember you HAVE to use those ice shrooms. They worked great. As long as you use the same slots as this after your initial set-up you're good to go. USE ICE SHROOMS. I got it on my first try and the my only defences that got killed were some mushrooms in the front row of the pool and one puff-shroom not upgraded in the first row on the bottom and top. Other than that, they never got close. No rushing for me to recover.

Lotus
All it takes is for you to lose. Once you get past 40 then your good. The thing that sucked was I went to the dash after I got it. So I could keep going with the level but it still autosaved.

DWHFloyd
I used the non-cob cannon setup although I didnt replicate exactly (just had a bad memory) but still worked up until 45. thanks a bunch! I never got beyond 25 before I saw that.
SLIPKNOTS DEMON
in another thread there was a person who said that if you were to play coop endless you would need to get to flag 80 to get the achievement, i dont really know if thats true, but i would rather do it by myself than sit through 80 waves
damastaf
Still getting wrecked with the cobless set-up by Zombonis and Giga Gargantuans. Especially the Giga is so damn annoying and powerful. I had about 3-4 waves out of 37 where they would drop like 20 of them combined with Jack in the Box and a shitload of Zombonis. So far around the 30+ wave mark I get in trouble with the cobless set-up. I will try the cob set-up and hopefully get more success with it. LausDomini
http://s2.hubimg.com/u/1455997_f520.jpg I got it with this setup as well as double spikes in the third column (used ice shrooms in the fourth column). The determining factor for me may well have been Wave 1 in which I created 5 columns of flowers and used the cattails and potato mines to eliminate enemies while building the 8 gloom shrooms in the water. Before when I only did the flowers listed in this picture I didn't have enough cash.
Marstrike
Yeah i used that method and it worked fine, lost the two outer most flume shrooms couple of times but with max sunlight nothing was hard to replace. I did start off with more sunflowers than that but i think thats just a given and common sense. You can always delete them when ready and they pay for theirselves within 20 seconds or so. Number 15 in the leaderboards now Used this setup: http://s1.hubimg.com/u/1428272_f520.jpg P.S.: Zamboni zombies suck. many thx Brambledamble, never used this shrooms in normal "career" mode so didn't know about their power :] anyway got to 46 flags only with similiar setup Edited March 9, 2011 by ownon

Honeydaddy
I tried a multiple of setups and found the one posted by asdf123 to be the most effective for me. The four corn cob missles were enough to keep the onslaught at bay. Thanks for the help!
admp
Thanks for all the tips and advice I finally managed to beat level 40. Thanks again, Al.
Captain K
Got 54 using Shorty's setup, except I replaced the two wintermelons in the pool with twin sunflowers for extra production. Zombonis on wave 50 wrecked me hard and I kept going throgh sheer willpower.
Wingman771
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgiV7-bvcfk]Survival endless day 10 COBLESS - YouTube[/ame] The above link is to another cob less set up that uses spike rock in the first row for diggers. I think I lost maybe 2 gloomshrooms in the pool, and ended with 9990 sunlight. Very minor upkeep, as long as you can handle the Gigas. Used double peppers around flag 22 on to ensure I could clear the outer rows.

WolfmanStarrk
I've tried getting this achievement using a Melon Pult/Winter Melon combination along with Spikeweeds unfortunately, I only got as far as 25 flags. I'm gonna have to try the posted set up above and see how if fairs for me.

This site helped a boatload http://plants-vs-zombies-survival-strategy-e.blogspot.com/ But finally done with this game! About time I was getting sick of this game.
