lordryuzoji
Taken from Game's website (http://www.game.co.uk/News/New-Call-of-Duty-action-adventure-game-coming-in-2011/~cA_13202/). "Having broken every record on offer in the first-person shooter realm, Activision's blockbuster Call of Duty franchise is to make the move into a whole new genre next year. The publisher has revealed that the 2011 instalment of Call of Duty will be an action-adventure game from rookie developer Sledgehammer Games. Work on the new title will be headed up by Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, best known to gamers as the men behind the award-winning sci-fi horror title Dead Space for EA. Mike Griffith, president and chief executive officer of Activision Publishing, said: "We are excited about the opportunity to bring the franchise to new geographies, genres and players." Activision will be hoping the new game can come close to matching the success of developer Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which achieved the biggest launch of any entertainment product in history when it came out last year. Before that, however, gamers can still look forward to a 2010 instalment of the venerable series, which is currently being worked on by Call of Duty: World at War creator Treyarch." DiamondD
I'm very interested to see where this action-adventure franchise goes and how it looks. I wonder if we'll get more information on it at E3.
