No Introduction Welcome to the world of Minecraftia, First let me say if you have played this game on the pc then you will be very familiar with these achievements however if you are new to this wonderful creeper inhabited world the achievements are still very easy obtain and your mind is the limit Overall the game is very simple with an achievement list that would mostly come over the course of just naturally playing the game however there are some that will take a while longer and also some dedicated mining to find required materials such as diamonds which is slightly luck based as to how long it takes you to find them. Conclusion This game is very easy and fun and you can play on peaceful difficulty which turns off all enemies and just turn it up to easy when you need materials from a monster or to kill one for the achievement, I hope with the use of this guide you have a great time in Minecraftia and should wrap up all the achievements with little to no effort If you’ve played Minecraft on the pc then most of these achievements you will notice are already available there and most require little to no effort to obtain, The crafting menus have been changed so you no longer need to move each item to the crafting bench as long as it’s in your inventory then you can just click the item you want to make it. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/-XIYrw==.jpgTaking Inventory 10:gsicon: Open your inventory This is almost certainly going to be your first achievement, just simply load up the game and press to open your inventory to earn this sucker. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/-1MRGg==.jpgGetting Wood 10:gsicon: Punch a tree until the block of wood pops out Simple enough just go up to a tree and use to mine some wood, once collected the achievement will unlock, can also pick up a piece of wood that someone else has mined. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/-rPpiQ==.jpgBenchmarking 10:gsicon: Craft a workbench with four blocks of wooden planks First you will need to mine some wood from a tree and then use crafting to make that into wooden planks, Description pretty much says it all, press to access the crafting menu and use four blocks of those wooden planks to make yourself a handy little workbench. Requirements 4 Wooden Planks http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/+mgDLA==.jpgTime To Mine! 10:gsicon: Use planks and sticks to make a pickaxe Mine yourself some wood and turn some of it into sticks and some into planks and simply select the pickaxe from the crafting menu to make this little beauty, It really is that simple. Requirements 2 Sticks 3 Planks of wood http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/5-h9sKE=.jpgHot Topic 15:gsicon: Construct a furnace out of eight cobblestone blocks Mine yourself some cobblestone (8 pieces to be exact) which you can find pretty much anywhere and use the workbench to craft yourself a furnace Requirements 8 Cobblestone blocks http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/5-u8QYc=.jpgAcquire Hardware 15:gsicon: Smelt an iron ingot Once you start mining underground you will find yourself some iron blocks which you can then smelt down using your furnace that you made earlier and once it has cooked you will earn this achievement Requirements Iron Block http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/+xECcA==.jpgTime To Farm! 10:gsicon: Use planks and sticks to make a hoe For this all you need to do is select the hoe from the workbench once you have 2 sticks and a wooden plank to craft this and earn yourself another achievement. Requirements 2 Sticks 2 Wooden Planks http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/+vH64w==.jpgBake Bread 20:gsicon: Turn wheat into bread Break several tall grass blocks until you gain three seeds - use your hands or the hoe to do this. Use the hoe on three dirt or grass blocks to get Farmland, preferably near Water, plant one seed on each block of farmland. Wait 1-3 in game days for Wheat to grow. After that mine the wheat and place it in a row at the workbench to make yourself some delicious bread. Requirements 3 Seeds http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/+NDzVg==.jpgThe Lie 40:gsicon: Wheat, sugar, milk and eggs! Collect the following 3 Milk Buckets: Craft 3 Buckets with nine Iron Ingots. Use each bucket on a Cow to obtain Milk. 3 Wheat: Grow 3 Wheat from Seeds. Collect Wheat. 2 Sugar: Find or grow 2 Sugar Cane and collect. Put all of the Sugar Cane into one crafting square of the Workbench to craft Sugar. 1 Chicken Egg: Follow a Chicken around for 4–5 minutes. Requirements 2 Sticks 3 Cobblestones http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/5-mdSDI=.jpgDelicious Fish 15:gsicon: Catch and cook a fish A fishing rod can be crafted from three sticks and two pieces of string, once you have these items select it from the workbench Requirements 2 Strings 3 Sticks If the line is cast in any sort of water, whether player made or naturally formed, after a while, the bobber on the end of the line will sink briefly before bobbing back up to the surface and will play the splash sound. The line must be reeled in at that precise moment otherwise the caught fish will escape. YOu do this by pressing the same button as you did to cast it. This will be the most time consuming achievement in the game, Your gonna be mining for sometime for a quantity or Gold, Iron and Redstone, This track has to be in one line so its best to make sure your clear a path forward and try your best to start on a flat surface Requirements 186 Iron Bars 34 Wooden Sticks 18 Gold Bars 3 Redstone http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/+TALxQ==.jpgTime to Strike! 10:gsicon: Use planks and sticks to make a sword Get yourself 1 wooden stick and 2 wooden planks and select the wooden sword from the workbench crafting table to make this very breakable stick of protection. Requirements 1 Stick 2 Wooden Planks http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/+hcfyw==.jpgMonster Hunter 20:gsicon: Attack and destroy a monster Have your game difficulty in the options set to at least easy and at night time when the monsters come out to play just kill any of them and this achievement is in the bag. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/+-fnWA==.jpgCow Tipper 15:gsicon: Harvest Some Leather Find yourself a cow and kill that poor defenceless creature, it may take a few to earn this achievement as they don’t always drop leather. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/+EkKmQ==.jpgWhen Pigs Fly 40:gsicon: Use a saddle to ride a pig, then have the pig get hurt from fall damage while riding it. At this time the only way to obtain a saddle is by finding one inside a chest in a randomly created dungeon, once you find one however is where the fun begins. You cannot control the pig once you place the saddle on it so i would suggest finding a pig and then place blocks around it so it cannot escape, now destroy one block and quickly place a door in it’s place and then dig a deep hole just in front of the door so that the pig will take damage when it falls. Hop onto the pig and open the door and then let the pig do the rest. To do this you will first need bones which can be obtained by killing skeletons, now to actually do this you need to tame 5 wolves which you do by giving it the bone using It can take several bones per wolf so you may need to find yourself in upwards of 20+ bones before trying this http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/5-3MMzI=.jpgMOAR Tools 15:gsicon: Construct one type of each tool (one pickaxe, one spade, etc.) To get this one you will need to obtain a Pickaxe/Spade/Axe and a Hoe, all of these can be made from wood and can be made via the tools section of the crafting menu http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1981/5-7rJzw=.jpgDispense With This 20:gsicon: Construct A Dispenser Once you have the required materials select the dispenser from the crafting menu and this bad boy is all yours. The never portal itself consists of a frame of Obsidian four blocks wide, by five blocks tall. The corners of the frame are not required, and only serve an aesthetic purpose. Once the frame is constructed, the player then sets the space inside the frame on fire using a flint and steel Requirements Diamond Pickaxe Flint and Steel 10 Obsidian [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKIPneusaaY&feature]Minecraft Tutorial - Nether Portal (Halloween Update) - YouTube[/ame] Edited May 1, 2012 by IC3 L3G3ND

heinstach
I can't find the pickaxe in the crafting menu. Weird. I'm playing on the lowest difficulty level. Should that matter? Edit: Nevermind. I just had to place the crafting table on the ground :-) Edited May 7, 2012 by heinstach

Finding a saddle is gonna require some luck, you need to be on the look out for dungeons all the time, chests are often found in them but usually near a monster spawner. Difficulty will not effect you finding a dungeon if you play on peaceful it just means no enemies will bother you while you look

Space Cadet
Kind of bummed at how easy the achievement are. But oh well, I guess unlocking the achievements is like 5% of fun the game can provide.
ravenouslou
I think that in this version you only need one bone to tame a wolf. I'm pretty sure the wording in game (there are lots of tooltips. great for new players) said A bone. I've only run across one wolf so far, but it definitely only took one for me to tame him. edit: I was wrong. The second took 3 bones. I got the pig achievement by climbing some of those ridiculously steep mountains that generate, putting a saddle on the first pig I saw, climbing on, and giving him a whack. The method described above is probably easier though, especially if you don't have any of those mountains nearby. RDrules
For On A Rail 40g Travel by minecart to a point at least 500m in a single direction from where you started. Instead of using power rails use a furnace minecart and put it behind your minecart and it should push your all the way as long as you have enough fuel. powered minecarts are a lot less efficient, slightly cheaper but slow, ugly and dont work well. plus powers tracks are the only really useful thing to make out of gold once you have a clock

iiPaDFooT
Ok so i just started and im not really sure how to get wood with nothing to make a pickaxe. any ideas? first off pickaxes would be for mining coal/stone/etc. you would use an axe to get wood. but you can also just punch trees with your fists. it takes longer than an axe but it's how you start off to get the materials for the tools. iiPaDFooT
I feel like ive been punching this one tree for ages, how long does it take? make sure you don't move up and down the whole tree. go block by block. i think if you move to the next block before you finish the first it restarts. i just punched a tree block about 12 times and it broke.
