Introduction:

Welcome to the Fantastic Pets achievement guide and roadmap. This game is similar in style and execution to Kinectimals, but not as good. It is relatively straight forward and the only things that will slow you down are the fact that the game happens in real time and having to get 100% of the awards.

Step 1 - Play through the First Day’s Events:

The game is very open and you can do whatever you like. The only thing that you need to understand is that the game happens in real time. For instance, Tuesday in the game is Tuesday in real life too. You can only do certain things once or twice a day and that means one of two things:

  1. Pop the game in and play it daily for about 20 – 25 minutes until you have completed everything.
  2. Manipulate the date on your Xbox and play the game offline.

The first day is a tutorial of sorts and there is really no reason to play it offline unless you want to. I have a daily guide walking you through the first couple of days and it can be found HERE. This first day will take 5 + hours to finish depending on how much you decide to do.

Step 2 – Day 2 and beyond:

After finishing Day 1, there really isn’t much to do other than the bare minimum requirements for the remaining ranks, achievements and awards that span multiple days. Again, the Daily Guide I created will walk you through getting the majority of the achievements as quick as possible. At a minimum I’d recommend giving it a quick read so you have an idea of how the game works and what to expect. It really is not too complex.

During the course of playing through the game, you will be able to unlock slots to have a maximum of 4 active animals. If you made a mistake on your pet selections or just want to try out a different pet, you can change the active pet by going to the smart phone menu and choosing the "Select a Pet" option. Now just pick the icon of the pet you want to change. If you need a completely different pet or species, choose "Swap pet". This will take you back to your uncle's house and you can choose whoever you want.

Step 3 – Mop Up:

At this point you will be ready to wrap up the game. The only thing left would be to customize 3 animals for their respective achievements and work on getting 100% of the awards. I have a list of the awards and it can be found HERE. Any award that you cannot earn can be bought for 1000 gems each so it eliminates any difficulty.

Conclusion:

The game is OK for the first day but then you are hit with the sad truth that there are only 12 mini-games to play. That’s it, over and over until you have reached your final rank. It is a decent game for kids and there is a lot of customization for your pets but an adult gamer will probably grow tired of it after the initial day which makes getting the full 1000:gsicon: a chore.

Good luck to all who try and thanks for reading.

You created your first pet.

Story related and cannot be missed.

At the beginning of the game you will be forced to play through a tutorial of sorts. You will pick your first pet, learn the basics of menu navigation, play a short mini game and finally enter the animal customizer. Once you finish with the customizer and accept the changes (if any) the game will save and the achievement unlocks.

You reached Trainer rank 10.

You rank up by participating in Talent Shows. Talent Shows happen only ONCE per day and in REAL time. So you have to log in to the game daily and complete the Talent Shows. Once you have finished the event for the day, you have to wait until the next day to participate in the next one. This turns into a long procedure, as it took me 7 complete shows to just reach rank 5 and then another 19 shows to get to rank 10, so 26 actual days.

Of course the alternative is to disconnect from Live and play offline. To do this, play the current day’s Talent Show, do whatever other daily event you are trying to unlock and then exit the game. Then, manually change the date of your Xbox to the next day, and repeat the procedure as often as needed. I started the game April 12, 2011 and got rank 10 on May 7, 2011. Obviously the time it takes to rank up will also depend on your overall medal for each show you participate in. For reference, I got overall gold every day except for one silver.

I have a guide for obtaining these ranks and awards while offline and it can be found HERE.

The fastest way to level up is to just play on Saturdays. You can also use the offline method and just keep changing the date to the next Saturday. You get almost 3 times the amount of points for a Saturday win as opposed to a win on any other day. A quick word of caution, make sure you only do this when you are not going for any awards or achievements that require you to play on consecutive days. Thanks to olcsi2 for the tip!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-7DAEA=.jpgThat’s what I was thinking! - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You played your pets choice of activity 10 times.

Sometimes while in Free Play (just standing in your house) your pet will display a thought bubble with an activity it wants to complete. Just reach out and grab the icon to start the event. Do this 9 more times during the course of playing the game to unlock this achievement. This is cumulative and can be spread across multiple pets. For example you can do 3 suggestions with a cat, 3 with a dog, 2 with a lizard and 2 with a pony for a total of 10 and still get the achievement. It unlocks after completing the 10th event.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-68HKc=.jpgNext to godliness - 35 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You washed a pet every day for a week.

The days in the game change in real time, meaning that Tuesday in the game is actually Tuesday in your time zone. For this achievement to unlock, you need to load up the game every day for seven straight days and choose to complete the “Pet Wash” activity. After completing the final consecutive Pet Wash, a week after your start date, the achievement will unlock.

This can also be done offline by manually manipulating the date of your Xbox. See “Grand high pet master” for specific information on how to complete this.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-9c5DQ=.jpgWork out - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You chased a pet for a minute.

For this achievement you need to run around your playable area and get your animal to chase you. What I did was just run around in a small circle and the words "Chase Time" appear on the screen. Just keep this message on the screen for a minute and the achievement unlocks. This is cumulative and can be done in segments. For example, 3 runs at 20 seconds each will still work.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-ziCfU=.jpgTickle time! - 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You stroked / tickled a pet for 5 minutes.

First you need to have adopted your pet. Then while in free play, sit down on the ground and just reach out your hand to rub your pet. "Stroke your pet" will appear in the top of the screen so just sit there and hold your hand over your pet. This achievement is cumulative and can be done across multiple pets. For instance you can do 3 minutes with a cat and then 2 minutes with a dog. It can even be done across multiple play sessions so it really isn't very difficult. Five minutes sure does seem like a long time when you actually sit down to do this.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-2oMbU=.jpgOwner’s got talent - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You entered a Talent Show.

Story related and cannot be missed.

After creating your first pet, you will eventually get invited to the first talent show. Simply enter the show and complete the events and the achievement will unlock at the end results screen.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/+8QO5Q==.jpgVictory is mine! - 40 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You won the Main Event two weeks in a row.

Every Saturday you will be able to participate in a Big Show. The last event of the big shown is the Main Event. Win this event back to back and the achievement is yours. This can be done by playing offline and manipulating the Xbox clock to immediately jump to the next Saturday.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/+133Kg==.jpgBook worm - 35 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You listened to all of the encyclopedia entries.

While in free play, select your smart phone by holding your left arm up to the phone icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Once in the menu, select the "Pet Encyclopedia" which is the third icon on the top row. Now you will be able to scroll through the 6 different categories and listen to each of the five entries per category. The achievement unlocks after selecting to listen to the last one. This takes about 15 minutes to sit and go through them all and there will be a yellow border around the ones you have not played in case you somehow lose track of what you've heard.

The categories are:

  • Dogs

  • Cats

  • Lizards

  • Ponies

  • Pets

  • Fantastic Pets

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/+r0PuQ==.jpgYou’re ALL my favorite! - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You owned a pet of each species.

There are 4 main species of pets and they are:

  • Dogs

  • Cats

  • Lizards

  • Ponies

Just play the game anyway you like and you will eventually be given the opportunity to pick a new pet. Every time you get this chance, choose one of the species you do not already have. The achievement unlocks after adopting the last one.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-vLK2o=.jpgAll rounder - 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You played all the activities in free play.

While not in an event or show you will be in your house with your animal. Select your toy box and play each of the activities at least 1 time and the achievement will unlock. The complete list of activities can be found under "All the toys".

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/+JwGDA==.jpgAll the toys - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You unlocked all of the activities.

Activities can be bought through your toy box. Just hold your right arm up to the right corner to open the toy box and then just select the activity you want to buy. You earn gems by picking them up during training, events and talent shows. The gems are the currency for this game.

Here is a list of the 12 activities in the game and their costs:

  1. Ball Fetch - unlocked automatically
  2. Pet Wash - 200 gems
  3. Pet Rampage - 800 gems
  4. Pinatas - 300 gems
  5. Brush Time - 200 gems
  6. Acrobatics - 600 gems
  7. Bubble Bubbler - unlocked automatically
  8. Take Aim - 1000 gems
  9. Bubble Dodge - 1000 gems
  10. Food Time - 100 gems
  11. Power Pounce - 1000 gems
  12. Sit - 400 gems

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/-T7t9Q==.jpgWinning team - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You earned a gold award in a Talent Show.

This should be easy to get on the first talent show. There are 5 events and prior to each event it will give you the score requirements for each medal. The very first time I played the first talent show I got 3 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze which when added together gave me an overall gold and this achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/-x-kQA==.jpgTalent veteran - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You attended a Talent Show on every day of the week.

The days in the game change in real time, meaning that Tuesday in the game is actually Tuesday in your time zone. For this achievement to unlock, you need to load up the game every day for seven straight days and choose to complete the “Talent Show” for that day. After completing the final consecutive show a week after your start date the achievement will unlock.

This can also be done offline by manually manipulating the date of your Xbox. See “Grand high pet master” for specific information on how to complete this.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-xIySY=.jpgAerobatics - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You commanded the pet to do a barrel roll.

First, select a pet that has wings. Now while just standing in your house during Free Play, flap your arms to get the animal flying. Once they are in the air, stick your right or left arm out in front of you and continuously “paint” a circle in the air until your pet recognizes it and does the roll. You should be using the same movement that you use to get the animal to roll while standing on the ground. The achievement pops instantly.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-nZG8M=.jpgKeep on running - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You ran straight past the target area in Sit!

One of the mini-games is called "Sit". It is pretty simple and all you need to do is run in place and when you reach the green target mat, stop running and squat down. Your animal will then sit down and slide to a stop. After your animal stops sliding, the closer to the red danger zone you are will determine how many points you get. For this achievement, run as fast as possible and sit as late as possible to slide right off the mat. The achievement will unlock at the end of the event or show, at the overall results screen.

You played with a pet every day for a week.

The days in the game change in real time, meaning that Tuesday in the game is actually Tuesday in your time zone. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-x78Do=.jpgDo not disturb - 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You did nothing for long enough that your pet went to sleep.

While in free play, just walk out of the view of your Kinect sensor and sit on the sidelines and take a break for a couple of minutes. You will eventually hear your pet snoring. Afterward, walk back into the sensors range and the achievement should unlock.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-7wOVw=.jpgGive us some credit - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You watched the credits all the way through.

At any point in the game, grab a controller and press :ybut: to bring up the Kinect Tuner. Now press :bbut: to close it and you will be at the game's pause screen. You can also hold your left arm down at a 45 degree angle to bring up the pause screen if you like. Once in the pause menu, select the gear in the middle for options and on the options screen, select the star icon in the bottom right hand corner. Watch the entire credit roll (it takes about 2 minutes) and you will be returned to the options screen and the achievement will unlock.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-+JOAA=.jpgTotal destruction! - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You completely destroyed a cardboard city!

There is an activity that you can buy called Pet Rampage and it costs 1000 gems. Once you have unlocked it, you can select it as many times as you need to through your toy box. The object of the game is to throw balls at the cardboard building to knock them over and then your animal will also run and fetch the ball, hopefully knocking over even more boxes.

To get the achievement, you need to max out the destruction meter on the right side of the screen. This may take a couple of tries but here are some simple tips:

  • Target the sides of the screen first. A lot of the time, your ball will ricochet around and your toss will take out the boxes on the sides and your animal will take out the boxes in the middle as it runs back.

  • Understand that your animal will generally run straight back to you so throw the ball in such a way that you will hit the boxes that are outside of your animal's return path.

  • The game will put red arrows on the areas where there are still boxes to hit. Aim for the arrows.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-5pwJM=.jpgDedicated follower of fashion - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You changed a pet’s style 3 times.

During the course of playing the game you need to change a pet’s style a total of three times. When you first adopt a pet, you get the chance to change something so go ahead and do it even if it is something minor like a color change. As you continue playing, after your first talent show you will get the option to change your style again. Choose to do so and that will count as number 2. Now just go back into your smart phone menu and select to change your appearance again for 50 gems. Do whatever you like and the achievement unlocks upon saving the changes.

You can do this with multiple animals if you like. For instance, 2 changes to a cat and then 1 to a lizard will still count as the 3 total needed.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-iTI4M=.jpgFail - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You scored no points during a Talent Show.

During a Talent Show, you need to end a single event with 0 points. This is very easy to do. Just play through and talent show and when you randomly get either of the events Power Pounce or Sit!, just run straight off the mat all three times. You can also just stand there and let the timer run out in events that are timed. The achievement will unlock immediately after the event.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-g541A=.jpgEpic fail - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You didn’t win any medals in an entire Talent Show.

Start a talent show and purposely fail every event. You need to score low enough to not get any medals. Manage to do this while not getting any points on a single event to also unlock "Fail" at the same time. You will probably have to actually TRY to get a low enough score. The events are randomly selected so you may have to keep trying until you get a good batch.

Here are some basic tips:

  • If the event has a timer, just stand there and let the time run out.
  • If the event has a way of penalizing you, be sure to get the penalty as often as possible.
  • On the 2 running events, just run off the mat at the end all 3 times.
  • On the ball throwing events, try your best to drop the ball as close as possible. These are the worst events to score low in.
  • And finally, avoid the “Strike a Pose” bonus events while going for this achievement. Just stand to the side out of the silhouette to avoid getting any bonus points.

You may want to combine this achievement with “Poor coordination”.

olcsi2 has an alternate and quicker method (assuming you are not combining this with "Poor coordination"): At the start of the first minigame, assume the Kinect pause / cancel position (hold your left arm out at 45 degrees) and then from the menu that pops up, select "skip" and you will get 0 points and no medal for the event. Do it 4 more times and achievement unlocked!

You messed up 10 Strike a Pose events in a row.

During the Talent Shows you compete in 5 different mini games. After each mini game you have the opportunity to increase your score by striking the pose inside the on screen silhouette. To get this achievement you will need to play through 2 talent shows and purposely stand off on the side (still inside the Kinect Sensor’s range) but out of the silhouette. You will know you did it right when the images disappears and displays red smoke where you should have been standing.

This can be done at any point in the game will unlock at the end of the second talent show at the results screen.

You can also use the offline method as outlined in the Daily Guide found HERE.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-tS0qU=.jpgI’m hungry! - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You didn’t feed your pet for 5 days in a row.

You can unlock this achievement anytime after adopting your first pet. You can do this two different ways:

  1. Just do not play the game for five straight calendar days.
  2. Play offline and manually change the date on your Xbox to be five days later.

You should also buy the Food Time mini-game for 100 gems first.

Thanks to Lord Retro for the confirmation of the offline method.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-+6ARw=.jpgRainbownicorn - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You created a horse that looks like a rainbow unicorn.

I started with a unicorn (found under ponies) named Crystal. First I took off the wings and then I proceeded to paint the animal the following colors (all the numbers I assigned are defined by starting from the first one and counting to the right):

  • Skin - A pinkish color (color 19)
  • Pattern - A light blue (color 15, the last one in this category)
  • Tail - Yellow (color 9)
  • Feet - A light purple (color 4)
  • Ears - Green (color 13)

The achievement unlocks upon applying the correct colors and saving the changes.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-oY6uU=.jpgImaginary tiger - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You created a cat that looks like a imaginary friend / tiger that only comes to life for you.

I started with a cat named Sasha. Here is how to build the one I used to unlock the achievement (all the numbers I assigned are defined by starting from the first one and counting to the right):

  • Wings - None
  • Horns - None
  • Skin - 3, Color - 6
  • Pattern - 6, Color - 8
  • Eyes - Default
  • Tail - None
  • Feet - None
  • Wildness - 1

The pattern you need is locked at the beginning of the game and can be unlocked by exploring the world using the Atlas. The achievement unlocks upon applying the correct colors and saving the changes.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/5-5a+Y8=.jpgRed dragon - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You created a totally red dragon.

I started with a dragon (found under lizards) named Drake. I only had to change 2 things but I'll go ahead and list every category because maybe the other components are randomized. Here is how to build the one I used to unlock the achievement (all the numbers I assigned are defined by starting from the first one and counting to the right):

  • Wings - 4
  • Horns - 3
  • Skin - 1, Color - 17
  • Pattern - None
  • Eyes - 8
  • Tail - None
  • Feet - None
  • Wildness - 5

The red you need is locked at the beginning of the game and can be unlocked by exploring the last expedition in South America from your Atlas. The achievement unlocks upon applying the correct colors and saving the changes. Thanks to Ric The Dude and spectreon for helping to refine this description and requirements.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/-acUOg==.jpgOne of everything! - 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You won all of the Trainers Headquarters awards at bronze or above.

There are 62 awards total and a complete list can be found HERE. This list can also be found in the game by selecting “Trophy Cabinet” from your Smart phone menu found at the upper left corner of the screen. You will unlock achievements for completing the specified percentages of the awards and they are at 25, 50, 75 and finally 100 percent. The description under each award tells you what you need to do in order to unlock that award.

It is important to note that ANY award you cannot earn, you can buy for 1000 gems. This includes the horrific Perfect Bubble Dodge awards. Just buy all the objects from the Atlas and then go into your Trophy Cabinet. Select the award you are missing, and on the description screen for that specific award it will now show an "Upgrade" option next to "OK". I just bought the last eight awards I was missing to get this achievement.

Important Note: If you buy an award it will not count toward your total immediately. You need to return back to the smart phone menu by pressing the large "X" on the top right hand corner. From there, select "Back" which is also in top right corner and this will take you back to the main gameplay screen and the achievement should unlock. If it doesn't, play a quick mini-game and it should unlock once the game saves.

I'd like to give a special thanks to ZknucklebabiesZ for letting me know about the ability to buy the awards. I can't believe I didn't see it myself.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1672/-4Ydjw==.jpgCabinet large - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

You won every Trainers Headquarters award on a shelf stack.

There are 16 different shelves to the Trophy Cabinet found in the Smart phone menu. To unlock this achievement you just have to get all the awards on one of the shelves. I have a list of all the awards and it can be found HERE. Some of the easiest shelves to complete are probably Pet Trainer Awards and Free Play Awards. Both of these can be done during your first day of play or you can try any of the others through regular play over the course of multiple days or by manipulating the date of your Xbox and playing offline.

See “Grand high pet master” for specific information on how to complete this offline.

- Offline: 10 (235:gsicon:)

- Online: 0 (0:gsicon:)

- Approximate amount of time to 235:gsicon:: 2 - 3 hours

- Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 10

- Number of missable achievements: 0

- Do cheat codes disable achievements?: No cheats

- Does difficulty affect achievements?: No

- Glitchy achievements: None

- Unobtainable achievements: None

- Extra equipment needed?: Kinect Sensor

Introduction:

Welcome to the Fantastic Pets Wings DLC Pack achievement guide and roadmap. This DLC was released May 3, 2011 and you get one new mini game and a couple more customization options. The biggest draw really is the boost to your gamerscore in just a few hours.

Step 1 - Take Off! with a cat:

Load up the game and use a cat with no wings like Sasha and try to start the new mini-game "Take Off!". It will tell you that you need wings and will prompt you to go to the Pet Database. Select "Yes" and when you get there, choose the "Wings" option. Now select a pair of wings with the DLC symbol (a globe with a downward facing green arrow). I just choose Wings 1 (with the DLC symbol). Then go to "Skin" and "Color" and pick option 1 here (a greyish blue). Now, change the "Tail" to color 2, change the "Feet" to color 3 and finally change the "Ears" to color 4. Save the changes and return to the main game screen to unlock "Committed to the look" and "I has colors".

Now return to the mini games menu and select "Take Off!". The game is four rounds and for this first attempt we want to fail all 4 times. When the event starts, just sit down on the ground and your cat will fall into the water. After the Event is over click the green check mark to continue and you will unlock "100% missed" and "Feline failure".

Step 2 - Take Off! with a dog:

Return to your smart phone menu and go to swap pets. Return to your uncles house and pick a dog named Rowdy (number 4). Then go to the pet database to customize it as follows:

  • Wings - 2 (normal wings not DLC wings - they look like bat wings)
  • Horns - none
  • Skin - 1, Color - 14 (white)
  • Pattern - 10, Color - 15 (black)
  • Tail - none
  • Feet - none
  • Ears - none

Now play Take Off! again and during the course of playing through the four levels this time, focus on ONLY collecting gems. It does not matter if you land successfully or not. The goal here is to get a total of 10 gems in this single 4 round session. You can get 3 in the first round, 2 in the 2nd, 4 in the third and 1 in the last stage (or any combination that will equal at least 10) If you are successful you will unlock "First Class Flier" and you should also get "Two Toned Puppy". If you don't get the 10 gems this round don't sweat it because we need to play the event at least 8 more times to unlock all the DLC achievements.

Step 3 - Take Off! some more:

Now play Take off! with a pony and then a lizard (or vice versa) to unlock "Pet Squadron Away!". If you already got "First Class Flier" you can make the remaining rounds go by faster by just crashing into the water by leaning forward. Now continue to play (or fail) the event 6 more times (complete 4 round sessions) to unlock Frequent Flier.

The only thing left is to spend all your gems (all the way to 0) and then win a Saturday Talent Show in one of the new outfits.

Conclusion:

You don't get much content for this DLC so luckily it is rather cheap and won't take longer than a couple of hours to complete. You probably won't play it anymore after that though.

DLC Achievement Guide:

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/dO/oh/04CLiGJhbC8wCRoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzNEAAAAAOfn5-wO6mg=.jpgTwo tone canine - 20:gsicon:

Play the Take Off! Activity with a black and white dog.

Now play Take Off! and the achievement will unlock.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Um/Cx/1ICLiGJhbC9ADhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzQ0AAAAAOfn5-ueYE4=.jpgI has colors - 15:gsicon:

Give every part of a cat (feet, ears, tail, body) a different color.

We will combine 4 achievements into this step:

After the Event is over click the green check mark to continue and you will unlock "100% missed" and "Feline failure".

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/nZ/ko/1ICLiGJhbC83DhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzRDAAAAAOfn5-sHmYE=.jpgDressed to win - 40:gsicon:

Win a Saturday Talent Show while your pet is wearing one of the new fantastic pet costumes.

First you either need to play on Saturday or go offline and change the system date to Saturday. Pick any pet you like and go to the "Pet database" in your smart phone menu. Choose the option for "Fantastic Pet" and then pick any outfit with the DLC symbol on it (a globe with a downward facing green arrow). Now go and play the daily talent show and win the overall gold medal and the achievement unlocks at the results screen.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/wZ/hR/1YCLiGJhbC9BDhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzQ1AAAAAOfn5-p+mN0=.jpgThrow it all away - 20:gsicon:

Get your GEM count to zero.

All you need to do is spend all your money to make the counter get down to 0. The easiest thing to do is just get your total gem count to the nearest multiple of 50 and then just keep spending 50 gems at a time by using the Pet Database to customize your animal. Just keep re-entering it until you are at 0.

To help get to a multiple of 50 you can play Take Off! and grab the gems there. Only collect the ones that will give you the amount you need.

The values are:

  • Red gems = 1
  • Yellow gems = 10
  • Blue gems = 50

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/dJ/Fw/14CLiGJhbC9CDhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzQ2AAAAAOfn5-hfkWg=.jpgFirst-class flier - 30:gsicon:

Collect ten or more GEMs in one session of the Take Off! Activity.

Play the Take Off! mini-game and during the course of playing through the four levels of a session, focus on ONLY collecting gems. It does not matter if you land successfully or not. The goal here is to get a total of 10 gems in this single 4 round session. You can get 3 in the first round, 2 in the 2nd, 4 in the third and 1 in the last stage (or any combination that will equal at least 10) If you are successful you will unlock "First class flier".

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/52/mQ/1oCLiGJhbC9DDhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzQ3AAAAAOfn5-m-afs=.jpg100% missed - 15:gsicon:

Collect no GEMs at all in one session of the Take Off! Activity.

See "I has colors".

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/6X/23/1YCLiGJhbC9MDhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzQ4AAAAAOfn5-qYffU=.jpgFeline failure - 20:gsicon:

Score no points and collect no GEMs in a single session of the Take Off! activity with a cat.

See "I has colors".

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/eo/VX/1ICLiGJhbC9NDhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzQ5AAAAAOfn5-t4hWY=.jpgPet squadron away! - 30:gsicon:

Play Take Off! with a cat, dog, lizard and pony.

Just play the new event "Take Off!" with each type of animal and the achievement unlocks.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/u2/jp/14CLiGJhbC81DhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzRBAAAAAOfn5-jGaKc=.jpgFrequent flier - 30:gsicon:

Play the Take Off! Activity 10 times.

You will have played this mini-game at least 4 times to get some of the other achievements in this DLC pack so just play it 6 more times and the achievement is yours.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Dm/HI/1YCLiGJhbC82DhoEGllTWTVFL2FjaC8wLzRCAAAAAOfn5-rnYRI=.jpgCommitted to the look - 15:gsicon:

Customize a pet with new choices from the extra customization options.

I've been following many of your guides. great great detail on all of them. i had a hunch you were going to make a guide for this. Should recieve it from gamefly today so perfect timing.

Thanks for all the hard work!

Thanks - hope it helps out.

If you happen to unlock "I'm Hungry" or "Imaginary Tiger" post back with the steps you took to get them. They are the only 2 that I have not been able to figure out. I actually thought they would be easy but so far no luck.

I just got "I'm Hungry" Don't play the game for 5 full days (or set the clock ahead) and it will pop when you return.

Also, could you expand out what all you need to make the Red Dragon? I tried to follow what you had and can't get it to go. I'll keep trying Imaginary Tiger combinations and post them if I get it. Oh, and I thought of Hobbes, from Calvin and Hobbes instead of Tigger.

OK cool thanks. I'm in Cali for the weekend but will try that out when I get back. I did not move the date 5 days in advance because I was trying to get other awards that required consecutive days. Good to hear it is not glitched.

For the dragon, that one was pretty easy. I only changed the skin color and the eye color and it unlocked. Both the colors I used are in the guide although I really don't think the eyes matter. If you have changed anything else, you can reset the animal to it's default state by returning to your uncles house and re-selecting it. I'd suggest restoring the defaults and then just changing those 2 things. I still have my dragon in the game so I can double check it, I may have removed the wings or colored the feet or something else but I don't remember off the top of my head.

You may be right about Hobbes. I really thought I'd get it by just randomly making different tiger combinations but no luck so far.

That's exactly what I did. Selected Drake (I had been using Timmy), changed his skin color to red and his eyes to the all red with black pupil. Nothing happened. My Drake started with a lot of black design on him from the high wildness, and I don't know if they are all the same or randomly generated per game.

two comments (both I guess quite useful for your guide):

- the dragon does not work for me... I take Drake and repaint the body and the eyes, it does not work, so there must be more to set.

- if you want to level up quickly with the training, do the shows on saturday only. they net you 325 ponts (for all gold) instead of the 125 during the weekdays. like this you level up a lot faster.. :)

I redid it and still only changed those 2 things. Maybe it does randomize the remaining portion of the animal for different people. I added the remaining categories and a picture for reference. (Picture is from my phone though)

This is funny, but that dragon thing does not unlock for me even if I do exactly the same thing that you describe. I dont care though, must have glitched on me probably.

Well, contribution time... :) there is a better way for "Epic fail". When in one of the minigames just have the Kinect cancel position (45 degress between legs and left hand) and then from the menu press "skip" and then you get 0 points and no medal for the event. Do it 5 times and there you go...

@Annikin: Kinectimals and this game not in the same sentence please. Kinectimals is a great game, this is a hardly a game at all.

@Scrapdaddy: you have made a hell of a job with this guide... prolly put in more work than the developers into the game.. :) thanks! I decided to sell it before getting the 1000. I do not think the difficulty for that perfect in the bubble game is 5/10, more like 10/10... :) hehe

Thank you for the info, but I think Kinectimals looks better, doesn't it?
Kinectimals is much better - this really is just a SMALL sample of mini-games. I think they were counting on people thinking it would be like Kinectimals and didn't really bother making an actual game.

Do it 5 times and there you go... The reason I added it the way I did was so that you could get "poor coordination" at the same time. Does skipping allow you to get a Strike a pose event? I'll add it anyway because it is a quicker method to getting this particular achievement.

BTW, I met you halfway and raised the partial difficulty to an 8 for now.;)

I am curious to see what anyone else thinks about the Bubble Dodge difficultly. I'm 5-11 / 190 lbs and this is the first mini-game of any Kinect game that just does not track me good enough. Moving side to side is no problem, but whenever I duck down I guess my frame is too big and it will still register a hit. I'm almost too big to play it. My 9 year old daughter is actually better at this event than I am but does not have the coordination to actually get a perfect score. Does anybody else think this one event warrants the "prestige" of a 10 for difficulty?

I am 6-4 130. I feel your pain x 10. My limbs take up more space than just one lane. I have a theory, but it hasn't worked yet. If I get it, ill post back here. If not im mailing it back with 920.

I've gotten close (1 hit) and most of my problems have been with it catching bubbles on my shirt sleeves/shoulders. I have very broad shoulders (when I rent a tux I look horrible because I need a size 54 jacket for the shoulders, and I can and have buttoned other people in the front there's so much extra room in the stomach area). My best suggestion is to wear something skin tight on your arms, tuck your shirt in, and hold your hands in front of you (I cross them with my elbows locked and hold my hands) to minimize your chest, and keep your knees as close together as possible.

I'm 3 achievements shy of 1000 (Red Dragon, Imaginary Tiger, and 100%) and I do believe I'm going to stay that way forever. It was a rental and I'm not going to pay any more money on this.

Hey everyone above, I can confirm that you can simply BUY the awards you are missing for 1000 gems each. That pretty much negates any difficulty in this game. It makes the Perfect Bubble Dogde awards a non-issue.

I updated the guide description of "One of everything" with specifics.

Thanks to ZknucklebabiesZ for the heads up on the ability to buy the awards.

I've been visiting this site for years for help getting Achievements but just registered today due to this game. Finally got the Red Dragon Achievement. The wings were incorrect. I used the guide exactly except used "wings 4" and got the Achievement. 1000/1000 on the game!

Cool, that saves me from having to replay the game again to figure out exactly what I had changed. It has been updated. Thanks.

What place did you unlock to get the red color? This would be a great help as it would elminate me from having to go through all of them. Thanks!

Like Ric said, you will have plenty of gems by the time you reach rank 10 that you will be able to buy everything in the game and still spend money unlocking the awards you could not earn. If you do find out, make a note and I'll update the guide.

Our 100% completion was short lived. They've added 10 more achievements for a total of 235:gsicon:. The new unknown DLC list is at the bottom of the guide, post 6.
