I actually loved how GTA IV was made and wish that the future games are like it.

Yeah, GTA SA and VC was SO much fun but it was too "arcadey".

I loved the random cheats in SA and maybe it would be a fun thing to bring back in GTA V (IE, Rhino, cops never follow, super punch,...).

I wish they'd bring back all the features they had in San Andreas that they inexplicably removed.

Who the hell ever heard of a sequel that lacks half the things that made the predecessor so amazing?

GTAIV was a massive disappointment for me. The only thing it had over San Andreas was its graphics, and even those pale in comparison to most 360 games. I don't play games for graphics anyway.

The storyline blew as well. They tried too hard to make it "realistic". Well for me, what made GTA so great before was the eccentric story, missions and characters. What happened to missions like the one in San Andreas where you had to fly a remote-controlled helicopter strapped with explosives into vans? Or storm an aircraft carrier and escape via fighter jet? Or jetpack into area 51?

GTAIV's missions were bland and repetitive. The characters were all cliché archetypes, and the missions followed 3 very strict outlines: kill a target, deliver a package, or escort a guy somewhere while being chased. There were a few variants on those 3 types, but not many.

I found GTAIV boring and uninspired. Nico wasn't nearly as likable as he was made out to be. Certainly not as much so as CJ was in San Andreas.

I was very displeased when I saw GTAIV get such high ratings on most game sites. It was most certainly nowhere near as good as Bioshock, Fallout, Gears of War, Halo, Mass Effect, or any other number of the 360's blockbuster titles. I'd give it an 8 at best.

just make it more fun, put something in it for replay value, or stuff that you can do when your not following the story line,

i loved the whole idea of buying businesses in Vice city, that worked well...

i also loved the complete freedom of san andreas... and the size of it was just incredible... deserts to cities to forests to mountains to suburbs... bring it back!

first make it a quasi rpg. you already have a in game rank, make it so in order to talk with this guy you have to be at least a goon, or to do this mission you need be a driver. also seasons, and have them effect the game play, like if its snowing and youre outside its harder to shoot long range weapons cause you're shivering, or in the summer if youre running around to much you slow down cause of heat stroke. if youre going to have collectables get perks for finding x amount like the other games.

I would like to be about black people again, trying to take control of the corners, doing drive by's on the East sides dealers, following them when they go to make a Re-up and then stealing their stash bags. I know this is just because I have been watching a shitload of The Wire, but still.

The characters need to have more motivation. It was ridiculous in GTA4 when Nico would give a lack of money as his motivation for all the terrible deeds he was committing, even though he had enough to buy a mansion in his bank account.

Oh and put some forests in there...I want pine trees!

Pretty good idea, love that one actually, have a bit more of SA in it but more structure in the storyline.

They did an excellent job with GTAIV, but I enjoyed Saints Row 2 better. It really just depends what type of game you want; realistic or not. The realism turned me off, because everytime I went a few mph over the speed limit or accidentally ran a red light because I forgot to brake, a cop would speed after me. Just wasn't fun anymore. Saints Row 2 was better IMO because it wasn't as realistic and turned out to be an over the top fun fest.

*Thinks hard*...

Boobies.

Or to be more precise, nipples.

On a female, I should add, considering the most recent content.

Not that I mind them putting a dick into the game, frankly I find it hilarious. But turnabout is fair play, and we should now get Nipples. Or go crazy, and throw a pussy in there.

As far as the general gameplay went, I thought it was great. There is nothing wrong with having a 'realistic' freeroam game. I think Saints Row is now the king of the over the top, outlandish and funny, freeroam. So I do not mind if GTA sticks with the realism bit. But I would also love more of those prescripted entertainment cutscenes. Ricky Gervais was fantastic. And all the others were a great distraction and break from the game as well. So more of those, definatly.
