skuff
I now have 3 backups, and touch wood I'm lucky enough not to have a corruption yet.. But I'm just wondering, have all the people that have had corruptions, had the casino installed? As I haven't downloaded it yet, and am debating whether to now, or wait for the patch
OctagonQontrol
I have had no corruption yet... Only things I didn't do in the game are Chase Modes; done my career 100% already as well a lot of Casino games.

GenericNPC
The reason why people are having so many corruptions is because they shut the game off when it is saving, when you press start, go back to the game from map view, or pretty much do anything different than just driving around the game will save, just wait for the saving indicator to go away and then turn off your xbox....it's as easy as that
Stiminal
No, the reason people is having corruptions is not because they are exiting the game while it's autosaving, you damn fool. I got corruption when the console froze (which it did regulary in this game) right after entering a car dealership, at which points autosave kicks in. As there is no way to disable autosave and do manual saving, there was no way around to avoid it. And for skuff: Yes, I do have the Casino DLC installed. If you still got things to do in Ibiza or Hawaii, then just wait with installing it. Do so when you run out of things to do.
GenericNPC
there is no need to insult me, I didn't even know the game freezes since it never happened to me
xI VARSITY
I have casino, and I always shut down correctly... and I've had a Corrupt Save... AFTER A GAME FREEZE!! so don't just assume that just because you haven't had it happen to you that it's not going to happen, Always have a Back-up save.. if you have been keeping up with the forums you will know that the corruption is more common in higher ranked players.... The most common freeze is after being Chased by the police, and the game saves at the same time as the freeze... so be careful
Stiminal
there is no need to insult me, I didn't even know the game freezes since it never happened to me Then don't insult others by insinuating they're all a bunch of morons that turn their consoles off during autosaves. Devs can screw things up that makes autosaves a very bad feature at times. Now you know.

GreenThumb
I had 1 corrupt save (30+ hours of play) long before i downloaded the casino DLC, now i use memory card and usb stick to back up my saves. I also never use guide to go back to the dashboard, i just power down then restart and back up my save. Now you know.I was just making a suggestion there was no insinuation sorry you can't just read something and take it for what it is, but instead you have to read too much into it and come to the conclusion that I am trying to be almighty and that I know EVERYTHING about this game. Which I clearly don't and are not trying to be
Stiminal
I read exactly what you was typing out. If you meant something else, then you should learn to formulate your sentences better. You claimed the reason for people having so many corrupt saves being people exiting during autosave. Do you really want to get into an argument about me "reading into what is written"? Is it even of any relevance of the issue that people are having corrupt saves?

Or by "reloaded" do you mean you copied over a backup?
