JimCant
Hey Guys, I have been thinking about buying a Cabela's game. They seem kinda interesting to me but there are like 50 different kinds. I don't care about getting the newest one out there cause I like to find games cheap on the secondary market. Anyone have any suggestions for one that they had fun playing? JAW LV
I completed a few Cabela games, but they were all rentals and used for boosting my GS only... meaning I didn't rent them anitcipating they would be fun/entertaining. I didn't really like any particular one that I completed but out of the lot the one that I found the most tolerable was Cabela African Safari. ChickinOnaChain
I second what JAW said. The hunting games are fun and pretty easy and good for GS boosting. And while I've bought some in the past...Big Game Hunter mostly...renting them or buying them used is the way to go.
JimCant
Thanks guys. Yea I wanted to try one out as I have never played a Cabela's hunting game before. I heard they are easy points but I also wanted to try one out to see how they are. I am not expecting an award winning video game from these. But thanks for the suggestions..yea I dont want to pay more than $10 bucks for a game.
ChickinOnaChain
I looked and I had BGH and BGH '10 and there were "difficult" parts for me. I never got 100% on either one. I want to rent BGH '12, just for a break in my gaming.
DecadentBeaver
I've been lookin at these games for a quick gs boost as well. Does anyone know if any of them were released in the uk at all? Never seen them in the shops.
hydrosugar
They may be easy points, but they are awful. Gackt
African Safari was the best one ive played. They all suck, but they are good for easy points.

IRyyNo
Like the other members are saying, Cabela's African Safari is fun. I've been playing it the past fews days. It can be completed pretty quick and easily, but make sure you play on expert the first time.
Corrupt.
I fucking hate these games. Most are really glitchy but if you are lucky you can get some easy completions... Also, this should be in the games forum... Edited February 16, 2012 by Corrupt.
DragonsGoMOO
I was interested in this, but never really decided to buy it. I just want a game where I can run around and hunt, and just fuck around. But the reason I didn't buy it is because I don't think I've seen "free roam" or anything like that. I don't want to do missions. I just want to run around and hunt for animals and get trophies. But if they do have that, and if it's any good, like in variety of animals, weapons, upgrades (if any) and other miscellaneous stuff (like I remember a game with whistle calls, camo, food bait, binoculars) but yeah. This actually does sound like fun. They could have a blast making the achievement list too. Unfortunately I haven't really seen anything like that. GrimSovereignty
Cabela deer hunting games are nice but I wasn't so crazy about the dangerous animals one where you were hunting like cheetahs and stuff. I had one of the older deer hunting games and I would play the heck out of it.
JimCant
For the Safari Cabela's one, how are the achievements? Are they just ridiculously easy, or is there some degree of difficulty? How are the graphics?? Cheesy or somewhat decent?

TacticalElusion
Steer clear from the Alaskan one. ^this....... It's the only one I've played but it was BAD!!!!
Braiiins
Played through about 75% (maybe lower) of Alaskan Adventure. The hunting was okay, I hated the stamina, seemed to go down really fast. I just wanted to hunt stuff, not worry about secondary hazards. I didn't like the fishing aspect of it. I traded in both Alaskan Adventure and an unplayed African Safari. I just picked up a copy of survival of katmai or whatever, didnt get horrible reviews, maybe it's just a kick after watching the grey.
Onelastbreath
African Safari for me, was mildly entertaining and pretty easy points.
Congressman Kibbles
I really enjoyed African Safari and some of the older ones, but I only played Dangerous Hunts 2011 for achievements
DecadentBeaver
Looked at some of the lists for these games and they seem easy enough, but to ask my question again, were they given a UK release? Never seen any in the shops since my last post.
dakisbac
I've only ever considered playing these for GS but they're usually too expensive even for that.
