Fire Hawk D
Overview: - Estimated achievement difficulty: 1/10 - Offline: 0 - Online: 10 (Hulu Plus subscription and online connection required) - Approximate time: 100 hours - Minimum number of playthroughs needed: N/A - Glitched achievements: 0 - Avatar Awards: 0 - Challenges (as of 11/27/13): 0 Introduction: Thanks to the new apps on Xbox One, you can earn achievements even for just watching television shows! Hulu Plus is one of these apps and while there's no Gamerscore or even Challenges to be had, there's still 10 achievements to unlock. And, as with all Xbox One achievements, these can be tracked in Achievements ("Xbox, Go To Achievements") so you can see how far along you are. Challenges: None (as of 11/27/13) Achievements: The Best Wing - Watched your first complete show on Hulu Plus. Though it says "show", you just need to watch a single episode, movie, or trailer to unlock this. Two's Company - Watch a movie with a friend. Another misleading description and the only one that requires a simulacrum of extra effort. For this, you need you and another person to be sitting in Kinect's view and start up a single episode or movie. It'll unlock right away. Small In The Family - Watched 10 episodes in the Kids category. Simply watch ten episodes or movies featured under the "Kids" category on the Home screen. The Reel World - Watched 10 trailers. Go to "Trailers" on the Home screen and watch any ten. Miami Mice - Watched 10 videos while in Snap mode. Just use Snap mode to watch any 10 videos, be they clips, trailers, full episodes, whatever. To Snap Hulu Plus (or whatever) either use Kinect ("Xbox, Snap Hulu Plus") or while you have something else running go to Xbox Home, select 'Snap' on the top-right corner, and choose which app you'd like to snap. This should be combined with the [The Reel World] or [small In The Family] achievements so you can game while they play. The A-List - Added 10 shows to the queue. Simply add ten videos to your queue by going to the video's page and selecting "Add to Queue". Breakfasting Bad - Watched 10 shows before noon. You need to watched ten episodes of movies before noon local time. Only videos watched during "breakfast time" seem to count. You can't watch shows around 2-in-the-morning and have it count. I'd aim for around 8-11 AM. Late Night with Hulu - Watched 10 shows after 9 PM. Same as the above, but after 9 PM. Again, this only seems to count between 9 PM and midnight. 20 Rock - Watch 20 first season episodes from any show. As long as Hulu Plus has it marked a "Season 1, Episode #", it counts toward this achievement. You could even combine it with [small In The Family] and watch ten Season 1 episodes of a kid's show. 6000 Minutes - Watch 100 hours of videos. Odds are, if you're even getting these achievements you likely use Hulu Plus anyway. Just keep watching episodes of your favorite shows or catch up on old ones and you'll unlock this after a while. mcnichoj
Fantastic guide, guess now I'll have to go back and put effort into the ones I did and make them look "professional". One small comment though, you should explain how to do Snap Mode, it may seem trivial but the console just came out so some may not know how to navigate and use the new features. (Have a game open, press the Guide button, then click Snap in the upper-right and select the hulu plus app.)
Fire Hawk D
Good idea. I didn't even know how to do it using the controller until I went and did what you typed. I just use Kinect. Cool.
Clarissalover
Can you fast forward through the shows, or do you actually have to watch them at normal speed?

RT Lance
Absolutely agree R Dubyah.. Good guide to you made this, but this is a guide no one should need.. Not because the achievements are so easy to get, but as the thought of achievements in Hulu/Netflix and so on is insanely stupid in my opinion ^^'
bumgarb
Has anyone got small in the family to pop? My daughter had watched well over 10 shows from the kids category but the tracker hasn't noted a single one.
STLfan2468
Is the 3-month trial only for the month of June? If not, I will definitely sign up for Hulu in the fall when most TV shows come back from summer break.
