Tony Dawg
I saw that a few days ago and I must admit, it looks very good. SC IV didn't have a good story. And Star Wars certainly didn't help the canon lol. I sincerely hope SC V's storyline is more than 5 fights and a paragraph at the end.
Matt36
That's the only fault I can pick with SC4. The story mode was far far to short!
Tony Dawg
Yeah. I think that out of the Soul Caliburs that I have played, which would be II (GCN/XBOX), III, IV, and BD, III definitely had the best story. You made choices up to the end. And if you failed the quick time event at the end of the story, you see a different ending. Just make it better than IV. Please Bamco.
Matt36
I totally agree, mate. It needs to be longer and give you more choices that effect story and character. IV was embarrassing, story wise. A real let down. Surely they've had feedback about that and done something about it.
hydrosugar
I agree that SCIV's story wasn't the best, but for what it's worth I actually liked Tower of Lost Souls better than Chronicles of the Sword in SCIII. One of the few it seems. Though I cant remember how much if any bearing those modes had on the story. I think it's none looking back.
Matt36
Nothing, tbh. I enjoyed the tower too. I used Yoda & Yeung Sung to get through it all. Pretty easy.
hydrosugar
I used Astaroth and Talim. (How's that for contrast) But it's more about using the "power ups" or whatever they were called. Like poison on the uber defensive guys. Presented a new challenge every time, great fun while it lasted. Except the last boss who has every power up imaginable, then can be beaten by standing near the edge and sidestepping. XD Silly Algol.

Tony Dawg
Levels 57-59 ToLS took me a YEAR to beat. Ended up using 3 Astaroths. >.> Of course, ringing out Algol felt like karma. TAKE THAT AI.
